Just dun make it to the Champions League for 1 season enough liao....... the Yankees gotta run road without the $$$ coming from the CL :D

:mad::mad::mad:

sometimes I really pity Rafa. He was given the task of the top 4, expect to mount a challenge on the CL and BPL but without the resources of a big club that he entitle to. How much net spending have Rafa spent for last season and this season? Even the villas, spurs, sunderland have spent more than us.

I wonder what make him still remain at Anfield. He is a top top coach in Europe, well respected and coveted in Spain. He practically can walk into any top european team that he want. I reckon that if Real Madrid still didn't perform up to expectation, the next time when they raided Liverpool again....well it's for Rafa.

Like Leeds? I really hope we won't be like them. Actually, given that we are in negative equity, there could be a valid reason to relegate us to 1 division lower.

don't think Rafa had make a bid for robben. If Rafa is interested in him, he might have gotten him during the Alonso saga which then we have the upper hand in negotiating

But i won't be surprise of a loan deal for robben now since Rafa didn't have money to spend. loan deal seems to be Rafa only solution

Robben going to Bayern? Just in case you guys are interested in watching this weekend's match with fellow Reds. I think it's a good idea to join the Official Liverpool Fan Club.

Dear fellow Redders,

Liverpool travels to the Reebok stadium on 29 Aug 2009, Saturday for their second away game of the 2009-10 campaign.
The Reds have enjoyed a good record there in recent season. Goals from Dirk Kuyt and Steven Gerrard secured a comfortable 2-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers last season.

A win for the Reds will keep Liverpool faith in the title dream.

Come, join the fellow redders at Rendezvous Hotel Singapore for our own Live Game Gathering and cheer Liverpool on!
Official Liverpool F. C. Fan Club (Singapore) members enjoys 20% discount on all drinks & snack items at the Palong Lounge & the buffet at Straits Cafe.

Date: 29 August 2009
Time: 9.55PM
Venue: Rendezvous Hotel Singapore Courtyard

Yours sincerely,
LFC Admin

But maybe I am really sentimental, sometimes I wish I could see the Pool of 80s in our current crop of players. I can recall clearly the days of King Kenny, Alan Hansen, Craig Johnston, Jan Molby, Rushie, Beardsley etc playing that kind of cool but simple one-touch football.

wow bro looks like we are from the same era...i still yearn for the days when one touch passing seems to be Liverpool strength in breaking up a stubborn defense unlike now a days where it is just like rugby kicking the ball high and hoping to catch the defense nabbing with a speedy striker...

The draw looks good if I not wrong. We need to only worry about Lyon.

precisely. most of us have families and are unable to commit to meeting up as often as we liked. having a platform here to share our commitment to liverpool, now that's priceless.

Liverpool is like our first wife or first gf (or first fuck) which is no longer there. But no matter how long it has been, we'll always have a soft spot for them.

faithful is the word. to me, liverpool is the wife i have, for better or for worse. regardless of whether she becomes fat, have wrinkles or otherwise, my marital vows to her will never waiver. i will never leave her for those old trafford whores. which is also why i react so strongly to those bastards that come in here and insult my wife.

all i can say is that, my wife is not very attractive now, but i still love her fiercely. can those manure whores say the same thing??? no, they r not proven. just imagine, if someone insults your wife, wouldnt u beat them into a pulp??? well, i would. but that is just me. told u guys i m extreme liao.

I think we have a problem linking up the attack and getting the ball to Torres and Stevie (his tackle was a sign of his frustration). Yossi for all his talk was really disappointing on the left and in midfield, and so was Kuyt.

that was in the 2nd half. go see the replay tonite. in the 1st half, glen johnson could be seen wanting to go up but pulled back instead. bcos of ashley young. they did start to venture forward in the 2nd half, but the damage was already done.

all that said, i still forgive and trust rafa. just hope that he will learn from his mistake of giving other teams too much respect. isnt liverpool a big team??? no need to give face and attack them till they crumble.

nevertheless, YNWA. cheers and have a good weekend.
