add Villa to that grp as well...

what really pains me is that Anfield is no longer the fortress it used to be...n that famous "This Is Anfield" sign probably no longer sends shivers down the spine of the Reds opponents...v sad...

Pennant accuses Rafa of 'restricting' Liverpool - Barclays Premier League - ESPN Soccernet

Rooney is doubtful for the derby clash. But is this all part of the mind game ?

Bros, need not argue based on comparison. Each situation/scenario is different.
Face the fact: Many great players who are certainly an asset are given the green light to go. Players dun really want to leave, its the manager's handling on players. Look at how he handles players!!! This is a game of flesh and blood and sweats.

Noone should handle them like robots, when they need a fix, drop them?!? Even to the extent of wanting to sell.
Facts on buying of great players? Look at the great signings against the bad ones! 7x bought, surely one or a couple will be good. And this just happened (the first few who were introduced are better).

The american.... are more like biznessman, investing money, but expect them to cash out in the near future. But certainly, the money is there.... mostly splashed on unbelievable signings!!

Result wise, victories were the hardwork of the players.
Ever seen the magic changes of mourinho, where by 2nd half, the substituition were changed and a reverse of the game were seen.
Benitez lacks that, he expects to put someone in, and changes the game!
CL victory from 3-0 down? Its from the hardwork of the players especially Gerrard.

Finger cross.... though we the supporters of Liverpool surely has differing opinion, each with their own points, I still strongly believe, benitez has been ti go.... a new change is desirable.

YNWA :o

btw back to yr under 10m pound egs...i am a fair reasonable person n wld say that on balance Reira is one of Rafa's rare good buys...Insua also looks quite promising...so does Pacheco, in fact Rafa might as well throw him into the deep end now, probably could not do any worse than N'Gog n Voronin...

oh n let me also say that i shall as usual be passionately rooting for the Reds @ my usual watering hole tomorrow night...however even if the Reds do win(which i really hope they do)...i still maintain that for long term success Rafa has to go together wif the yanks...

YNWA

i agree with u on the yanks but not on rafa as i think he s the only man who cld bring the bpl to pool we shd stick with him n ride the storm out, letting rafa go is not the answer.i m sure pool will turn things ard.

Not going to kick the gaffer and the team when they are down.

Bros, have you ever watched a more emotional game in a long long while! I sure haven't!!

Carra, Lucas, Yossi, and Torres were marvellous but it was a great team effort. Once again we didn't win through a mistake or a tap in but we stifled the Scum totally.

At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

I can't believe it when Vidic got sent off for a third time! He had been telling Carra he deserved to go hahaha.

Another great joke: Mickey off with his tail between his legs again! LOL
