Hi Guys,
Newbie here. I been reading this forum on and off. (Cannot managed to read 100 over post). Nov I am going Mui Ne, any recommended resort / hotel that I can book? I have checked H88 website on HCM. But info on Mui Ne is quite less. Wonder travel by train or bus is better? |

The style is abit different from our local ones which let you eat the skin and then separately fried the meat. This one is skin with meat together. Taste good. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Bros, I intend to visit HCMC in the first week of Nov. I been to VN bef about 5 yrs ago but was on a "no-cheong" trip. This time round I'm going alone to explore happenings.
Quick check with all, is there any "tour agents" in HCMC like those in Chang Ping? Someone to advise/arrange on happening activities? Or to tell you the dos and don'ts? Thanks |

Mui Ne Vietnam
April 2012 during the long Vesak Day holiday , I landed in hcm and my sweet gf came to pick me up from the airport on her Vespa 125. Tomorrow we planned to take the 9am Phuong Trang bus to Mui Ne from De Tham Street, Pham Ngu Lao area. Gf already bought the tickets so we dun really need to rush. Phuong Trang bus website... http://www.futabuslines.com.vn/Default.aspx?tbid=9 We had a good nite sleep and next morning we proceed to the PNG to take our bus after breakfast and coffee. The journey took around 5 hours with one break in between for toilet and lunch. We arrived Mui Ne after passing thru Phan Thiet town. The bus assistance will ask us which hotel or resort we live and will drop us along the way. Mui Ne beach is just one long stretch along Huynh Thuc Khang. All the hotels and resorts are right there. I really cannot remember the hotel we stay but knew it belongs to a family and not very big and dun face the sea. We go for cheap budget hotel but clean and safe. Book hotels using Agoda or Booking websites. |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Interesting place to visit
The Red Sand dunes – sliding down in a slide which the locals can help you to play together and of course you have to pay by hour. http://img4.uploadhouse.com/fileuplo...7770189c5b.jpg http://img1.uploadhouse.com/fileuplo...51be7b748b.jpg The White Sand dunes – pay to drive the large sand automobile, ATV to roam. Be prepared to pay quite a bit for this. Seas sports – surfpoint kiteboarding, jet ski, island cruise, etc Fairy Spring – Suoi Tien – Walking up the stream bare foot for about half an hour will lead you to a waterfall. Every nite, we had dinner along the road where the stores will offer their fresh harvest. We had lobster every nite because gf love it. These stores disappeared in the day and sprung up in the evening and you cannot miss the aroma once you walk along the road. After 4D3N and lots of bonking because Mui Ne can be hot during the day. So on the day we depart just call up Phuong Trang bus in Mui Ne and they will tell us to wait along the road at what time to pick us up. You can pay for the tickets on the bus. Another 5 hours back to hcm. I will say the Mui Ne beach is not as great compare to Phu Quoc and Nha Trang beach but place is not very far from hcm to getaway for a weekend. |
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
To all bro, I will be At HCM 2,3 oct, do pm me if any bro wan to meet up for chionging or meetup... Thks
|
Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
I wonder at times , if newbies wanted to chiong with seniors , shouldn't the newbies pm the seniors for advice ? Instead ask people to pm them as if the world owes them a meetup?
To newbies : Think it yourself and slightly use your brains. Don't be "shy" and ask people to pm you , coz the only ones which will are the likes of toads and clones. |

sometimes I am targeted for bringing newbies to cheong for free...so I had refrained from doing so unless the newbies became my frens...hehe...frens are termed as samsters who I knew and befriended after meeting..actually I dun cheong only let frens follow my itinerary and follow my boring routines...:) |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Tks brother Hurricane88. Yes I read your website, very informative, professional (lots of disclaimers) and impressive. In fact I believe there is huge potential for your website to grow or you to become a tour agent like those in Chang Ping.
Actually I know a VN gal (in Armani) and she returned to HCM. She wants me to visit her but I need contingency plan - what's if she "aeroplane" me? If HCM is very restricted now with all the cong an, perhaps I should just revisit my "home ground" Chang Ping. :) Still researching! Cheers |

HCMC n CP is of totally different chiong scene.KTV gals in CP are all available for extra service whereas not all gals in HCMC do that. i dont know whats the price for the Armani gal,but i presume its not gonna be cheap unless she gives u a "friendship price"... there are still many places and ways to get a gal for LT at below 3 mills..my advice is that u should try it out urself first,if fails to hit on anyone then take the Armani gal as a backup. |
