Hope the news about the Saudi prince who is attending tonight's game against wolves make some movements after the match.;)

We'll have less supporters here at the end of the season - not that it's necessarily a bad thing ;)

I won't count my chickens - too many false dawns already...sigh.

the players are lacking confident, hopefully after this win, they will pick-up and grow from strength to strength.
but a win is still a win and 3 pts in the bag.

It all hinged on the red card didn't it? At least it came from a good move (which involved Lucas!).

Good to see AA get a run out. Did well with some good passes in midfield but he needs to be cleverer about the tackles and closing down by opposing players.

Answer to ur question: "he was always in the team becos Aquilani was injured, and now MAcherano is suspended..."

now my question is: "wat has he done to deserved to be called a jinx, a disagrace and all sort of names....?"

every teams has their share of "Glory Hunters" supporters... but i think we have plenty of die hard supporters too..

i started supporting the reds during thier hay day, seen rush, breadsley, barnes winning titles... and seen them going downhill as well, but i never given up on them, even during our darkest days under souness...

though the 1st english team i watched was man utd (Normal WHiteside? Viv Anderson?), but i ended up supporting Liverpool, simply becos of the fans, the manager, the players, the way they behave, the way they play...

and of cos "You'll Never Walk Alone"

:D:D:D

Overall is not a great performance, but nevertehless it's an important win..
Simply too many wayward passes, mistime run...
Aquilani looked lively and dished out few nice passes..
But Stevie G & esp. Torres r worryingly off their best..

during these period of bad spell,i would rather fancy tat The Reds played lousy but +3 pts in the bag.
No pt playing well but nil or only +1 pt in the bag.
Next up on 29 Dec 2009 is a big test, away @ villa park.
villa, spurs & manc r the 3 teams tat r challenging 4 the 4th UCL spot with The Reds.
they lost 3-1 @ home against villa on 24 Aug 2009.
it's important (psycologically) tat they win @ villa next tues.

I thought the commentator made a good point yesterday - that Mascher and Lucas are not finding Stevie with their passes - they can pass sideways and to the flanks but not inside. Hopefully AA can do it better.

Am sure if Mascher is fit, then Lucas will have to make way.

Torres was disappointing though, his attitude has been poor. Rafa needs to have another talk and tell him the best way to get at the defenders is to score.

have been very disappointed with the results recently.
i think Torres and Liverpool needs another striker, depending on one is not the way to go.
this coming match against Aston Villa, this is a match that we can afford to lose.
last match of 2009,hope we can end 2009 with a win and then carry-on in 2010.

I guess u mean we canNOT afford to lose ;)

Yes, as mention, we need another consistant striker to partner torres (he is getting frustrated game to game) & not Babel & Ngog who both to me is not BPL class yet. The dutch lg & english lg is 2 different lgs altogether.

....But..do we have the monies ? :o

Yup, i do agree that he is a wonderful striker but of course that will depend how rafa is going to use him because he plays exactly the same way as torres - not the goal poacher type but bring the ball from outside of the box to the penalty area.
We shouldnt even think he is former ex-manure player..who cares if we can win with him ;)

btw he was voted as the best striker of the decade by ESPN recently ahead of so many other stikers..that says it all
..But age is catching up i agree & i hope he save his last shot for Liverpool (if he ever come anyway) ..

it the same with manure, they also have an Reds in Michael Owen.
nowaday, when players reach a certain age - above 30 years old, what they need is first team play and not on the bench.
any reasonable team that offer it,these players will just grab it.
furthermore, next year is World Cup,they will need to play regularly in order to be consider for the national team.

he maybe injury prone and 33,but still consider good as his scoring skill and abilities are still there.

the next match against Villa will be important cos Gunners just beat Villa by 3-0 and it is a good chance for us to reduce the gap.
hope that Torres will recover his form for this match.
