From what I saw, we didnt play well..
Passing was off, lacking of ideas and in fact might have lost the game by at least 2 goals...

Bro, from that point on, Villa had some chances and were beginning to dominate.

But you saw the closeups? It was a bloody blizzard out there!

Given that this was against the team with the best defence in the league and had beaten the top two (and we also lacking our midfield enforcer), it was a creditable performance from us. ;)

Yes, a massive game and we have another one against Spurs - lost to them first day of the season and we really need to win to put that right!

comapring the game which manu played yesterday with the pudlians, it was fair enough to say that the fools dont deserve a place even in the bpl, let alone the champions league. Real shame on the league the way they are playing. and some ppl boasting around :o

We need to get past Reading 1st .
I see that as our real chance of a trophy as the i see the Teams in the Europa more challenging here.

BUT results like this show luck is going our way, winning tough and tricky games without playing at our best...

Bro GeMiNiZzzzZzz, he's having dementia. Less than 3 weeks ago, the Scums lost to Villa at their home ground 0-1. Among the Top 4 teams, only Scums got the record of not scoring against Villa. That is a record not any team can boast about:eek::rolleyes: Shameless

Liverpool has not won the premier league ever and will not win if they continue to play like this. Everyone knows the kind of football fans liverpool has got. no one can ever forget heysel disaster and they almost destructed the english game itself . only because of team like manu, chelsea, and arsenal the epl is growing, and liverfools think that their team are the best, and rafa is the best ever. :p. bunch of fools never walk alone.

DAILY MIRROR

Liverpool are set to complete a loan swoop for Atletico Madrid winger Maxi Rodriguez.

DAILY EXPRESS

Andriy Voronin is set to end a miserable stay at Liverpool with a move to Russia.

THE SUN

Ruud Van Nistelrooy looks certain to join Liverpool in the next few days and his Real Madrid team-mate Rafael van der Vaart could move to Anfield on loan until the end of the season

some "good" transfer rumours....

but sad to see our club have to resort to looking at "loan signings" of fringe / unwanted players of other clubs...

I'll be delighted if Voro only leaves.

We have to work harder to get the dead wood out - given our financial plight, it doesn't make sense for them to get 30k a week for training sessions!

players i hope to see their backs:
voronin
deggen (thou he's out of favour, unlikely to let him go esp GJ is injured now)
babel (dun seems to be able to fulfill his potential here, but allow to go only if we can get a good price and also a new back-up striker)

I have seen Maxi played for Atletico, quite a speedy player - if the deal goes through, it will be good for liverpool as we do not really have any speedy players apart from Yossi.

I have mentioned before, it will be GREAT for Ruud to come here to partner Torres - i can forsee the 2 of them working very well ;)

As for Van de Vaart, it would be difficult to command a regular place for him in the Liverpool Midfield position, which will jeopardise his World cup dreams for the dutch team - however he can easily fit into the 1st eleven in any other squad.

:o:o:o

I would luv 2 see Maxi Rodriguez come 2 Liverpool, even on a 6 month loan.
I don't see Andriy Voronin ending a miserable stay @ Liverpool.Instead it's The Reds tat r ending their nitemare with Voronin. He isn't contibuting anything 2 the team. Andrea Dossena k also leave tis club.
I would think tat it's 2 soon 2 let Ryan Babel leave tis club.
