Phew finally finish reading 67 pages @@ crazy stuff...
Anyway im a newbie and have never chiong before.... but I've been to HCM in May with a group of friends, girls included so i guess nothing much could be done. But i will post my activities there to learn from my mistake. But reading from the previous pages, i already know some mistakes i did. but here go
16 May
Arrived at HCM, got a big van for the 9 of us. Paid 25USD for it and off we go to the hotel (grand silverland at lv tu trong street i think). Upon reaching was greeted by decently english spoken receptionist who asked for all our passports and who we are all staying with, and served us welcome drink. Recep then asked if we would like to book for taxi to airport for 25USD and we thought its the same price so we took the offer. After the check in, we went out for lunch, and was advised by the receptionist to try out pho as thats their specialty. But was directed to a shop on the same street i think its called pho24 or something...but honestly the food there is so so only.. not as good as expected and its not cheap either. Then proceeded to ben tanh market right behind us and i started looking for gold smith shop asking for exchange rate (i had changed my RM to USD and change USD to dongs in gold smith because according to my friend, i will get a better rate like that). I manage to change USD 100 for 2.1m. Then we started walking around ben tanh market to shop around as there's girls in the trip. Night come and i think everyone was too tired so everyone decided to rest early. As for me and 2 more guy friends, we decided to take a stroll to find out the places recommended by receptionist... Now looking at the map i believe the place is hai ba trung street. he told us theres where the night life is at. 3 of us walked out of the hotel and immediately greeted by a pimp on motorcycle asking us if we want girls, but we politely decline as we're not really looking for girls at that moment, just merely wanted to explore as i was the tour planner for the whole team. We walked all the way down the street towards hai ba trung and was further greeted by more and more pimp or girls on motorcycle asking us if we want special service. By this moment, we were already a little scared because they get more and more aggresive. Stopped at 1 of the junction after walking quite some time. Decided to turn back because we realize the night life is not by walking distance. On the way back, we were greeted by 2 ladyboy ( i believe) 1 of them have very pretty face and huge fake boobs asking if we want bj for cheap price. When we declined, she got more and more aggresive and started groping my friends xiao di di... i was lucky because she only targeted both my friend for some reason. And she keep chasing and following us for at least 10 minutes across like maybe 5-6 different road.
