Yes. I never had the chance. As I mentioned b4 most of my trips are with my CO^^; maybe if I do visit next month and you are around & free maybe can meet up for a drink or a meal :D

I still half half on going HCMC or PP, even though I'd already mapped the joints to go for Q5.

I'm quite sentimental (and lazy), also not many pm me, so I'm able to keep my 1st pm to u:D

Even then you were looking out for the safety of the bros here. Thanks^^

This is the TS H88 we all knew. Unlike all the idiots or clones trying to create trouble here over the years and recently.

TS H88 had been helping to provide HCM and Vietnam info before I even step foot into Vietnam.

To those who don't know H88, just intro yourself courteously. Wait for him to reply. If he doesn't reply means he may be busy or some other issues which hold him back.

IIRC, thread 1 got infected badly by clones, then H88 bro started thread 2. But thread 2 got really messy to a point I don't even who is real or clone anymore, think around the time I skip over to the Pattaya thread.

Think it had an impact on me as I end up not wanting to meet much sammy bros, those that I'd meet b4 are mostly from other forums or happen to know when I was overseas 555 Anyway don't like to mafan people unless they said like to meet me.

I understand most senior bros try to keep some local spots from newbies, worried that some black sheeps will spoil market or get ripped off due to language barriers.

I normally don't ask for locations of these non public shared spots (maybe I'll asked to verify), I remembered the closed Korean FJ barbered locations were given to me by a Taiwan friend I meet online. :D Then was only 500k all in. 555

Anyway I'm just a tourist don't really need to know too much. Just need to know don't spoil market for others and not shared locationsopenly which is not in tourist spots. With locations of hotel massage, BJ hot toc, Q5 bia om/nha hang and maybe wechat/website girls gathered from online sources, I should be able to have enough fun :D No need really mafan the senior bros.

Just to share my impressions of Hanoi. Most city gals are highly educated and have good jobs so no need to work as masseurs etc. Around tourist areas like Old Qtr etc very little to no action. For that, u have to get out from CBD to the outlying districts.

---------------------

It depends. I was stationed there for more than a week so I had ample time to explore. Most tourists just visit the Bay and go back to HN.

Along the Bãi Cháy area, a stretch of road where there are rows 2- to 5-star hotels, are many matxa joints and the gals inside are just dying of boredom, dreaming of moving to the city etc. Most of their customers are from mainland China or Koreans here for work purposes (like myself) but their arrivals are seasonal.

I met a 20-yr-old xichlo rider there. Poor gal has a day job and ferries guests from the hotel to the town centre at night for US$1 per ride. She brought me to her home, intro me to her mum who sells teas by the roadside. After 2nd or 3rd night chatting with her mum, the old lady pleaded with me to take her daughter away from this life of poverty. Her daughter makes just US$40-50 a month.

I hear there are even more action at the border town of Mong Cai but I did not have the chance to explore there.

This is very subjective...the surrounding provinces provided most of the Hanoi work force...and many are uneducated or stopped schooling since 12 to 15 yr old...:)

recently many from the south are coming to work in the Hanoi entertainment...but the gals that I met are mostly from North...:)

5D4N and you intend to travel so many places and do so many things...a bit ambitious...:)

Sapa needs 8-9 hrs train ride to Lao Cai and 8-9 hrs train ride return...an hour plus bus ride from Lao Cai to Sapa...so you left with 2 days to visit the rest if you spend 1 day in Sapa touring...:)
