I have to disagree with your statement. "Fighting" is too harsh and a wrong word to use. I would put it down to sharing our plea, thoughts and belief on our club. i am dammn sure true fan would never walk alone be it in agony or joy....not even in cyber world. :)

All Lille 1st 10 mins, now we are growing into the game.

Stevie free kick saved, follow up Torres header also saved. Their keeper having a blinder.

disappointing match..

never going to easy playing on the bumpy pitch..

could not see anything positive from the match.. only macherano n johnson performed decently..

again not convinced by some referee decisions.. why the 2 lille players weren't booked for diving in the box..? some of our perfectly legal tackles were blowed foul too..!

sighed.. tat's all the excuses i can find.. :o

nevertheless, there's still 2nd leg, and i still believe tat we can beat them by 2 goals..

Not unexpected as he came here to win trophies.

Having said that, I think Torres and Stevie have to take some of the blame for our poor showing this season, when their endeavour and teamwork were simply not there. Last weekend at Wigan is a case in point and we also lost to bottom club Pompey with both of them in the side, as well as drawing away at Reading in the FA Cup.

I'm sorry to see that the Torres of the first season when he chased down defenders and stood chin to chin with Terry is now gone. Both he and Stevie need to buckle down and work for the team cause.
