I'm not going to defend SG though heheh - he is always pissed poor against the scum and last season's OT game was the only one where he actually made a difference. I thought he did ok last Sunday - you can't control a game as second striker.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I thought he did ok last Sunday - you can't control a game as second striker, and besides helping the build up to the goal, as laid on the cross which Torres fluffed in the final minute.

thats wat i m saying bro thats where he can do the most damage as a 2nd striker,he was off his game that nite but than he still created 3 chances for FT,one resulted in a goal via kuyt, the other 2 FT fluffed it,u can t blame the pool fans in here as well cos they support the team with thier hearts on thier sleeves n don t see the bigger picture at times, ppl shd understand wat lucas role is,i m not a great admirer of him but he does do wat rafa expects him n thats y i guess he s in the team,by putting SG in central midfield is not gonna solve our prob,we need him further up front where he can create n score goals 4 us.i noe he is long gone but we miss that alonso factor,he controlled everything in the middle of the park last season, rafa have to go find a player like him, maybe xavi or inesita:rolleyes:who can sit the middle of the park n control the game cos SG cant do it.

How many times i have seen forumers saying, dont blame rafa, dun blame the yankees, dun blame lucas/ngog/babel..touch you heart..do you all really mean it OR just finding excuses for yourself ?

While what we discuss here or thousands other website will not even affect a single bit of the decision from the Liverpool management team, we can just talk & talk about it all day.

When a team is in crisis (especially a status of Liverpool), the 1st person to look at is the boss - how he motivates the players, afterwhich that he can only leave the players out on the pitch to perform.

When they are not performing, then its the problem of the Boss, its the same when you work in the society.

Manure boss can afford to throw a boot at his players during 1/2 time talk, Jose can afford to sub his players aft 15mins of play because he deem them not doing their best - thats why they are so highly respected & winning the championship..

Rafa don't even give give a pat on the back of the players or shake their hands when they were sub (ONLY unless his team is leading)..

I still stand my ground of my view - But..i can only hope..

Huat Arh ~~~

motivation?playing for liverpool shd be motivation enuff 4 the players, does ur boss gives u a pat on ur back n say well done?do u go in to wrk hopin that ur boss will give u a pat on the back OR u go in to wrk to earn ur salary, getting rid of the boss is not gonna solve our prob,u have ur views n i have mine.

Bye bye Riera ......

Im not sure if bros agree with me that Riera's 1 of Pool's better signings so far. At least he's got decent skills n had scored a couple of great goals. But I think he's too injury proned.

Haizzz ... 2 mil loss for Pool for selling Riera ... Y do we keep selling the better players (imo, riise, warnock, finnan, murphy etc ) n retain so many of those who cannot make it (i rather not name who, u shd know lah!) ............. :(

true riera is one of the better signings sad to see him go.

Lucas is not only a "good" player, he is in fact a "god" player [RB's god son mah] With him playing, Liverpool is actually playing with 10 men.

No matter, what others appraise him, to me...he is SHIT...will continue to condemn him

With Lucas & Mache, We can be worried, very worried that we are actually playing with only 9 men..

Anyone realised Lucas style of play is like this - In the centre of the pitch..he will pass to Mache..then Mache will pass back to Lucas..then goes on for 5-6 passes to each other..& the ball will end up in the defence - Carragher, & he will gets fed up & pump the ball up...Thats how bad they are..:o

Anyway i hope the news on Juve confirming a deal with RB (Rubbish) will take place, - & i have already started to pray next season ..as this season is a forgone conclusion.

If Lucas can pass the ball accurately then still ok.....i often see him act hero try to dribble but ended up losing the ball to the opponent! If not...he'll 'kay -kiang' try to score.

That's where we missed that Xabi Alonso who has excellent ball passing skills. Blah, sold oledi...left with one head-less chicken running in circles

Bro don't worry about it la, this is not about Lucas at all. Every season there is a scapegoat, if it is not Cisse, it's Kuyt, if not Kuyt, it's Lucas. There was even one season when fans were blasting Alonso for being slow and immobile (the season when he broke his foot). It's been going on a long time now. These so called fans with their so called constructive criticism - they are not going to go away.

You know the bullshit from the pundits before any match - that the fans are all behind Rafa still blah blah (they have their agenda obviously for saying this). The fact is, if you know at the forums, not just this one, the never walking alone club is long gone.

So for you and me, let's just continue to support the club and the players.

these r the same group of people who blamed rafa for trying to replace him with barry, and eventually blamed rafa when alonso left for madrid the following year...

to be fair i think Mash is a good player but more often than not, he doesnt use his brains enuff. like grunting like mad man n arguing with refs n tackling w/o thinking. as for Lucas, i really dunno wat to say. when i was watchin d match in Rendezvous on Sun, he was the laughing stock n subject of jokes (what's new?). when he was taken off, the fans erupted with joy n there was a refreshing air of optimism. :D

some soccer pundits had often questioned RB's decision to play Mash n Lucas in the same role - that as a defensive midfielder who shackles n destroys. with the goals we r leaking, it's obvious d formation isnt working well. we need 1 of those QUALITY flying wingers to add more width to our attack or someone in that holding position like Alonso to take command in central midfield n spray d killer passes.

according to the above fixture, and assuming they lose all their "tough matches"...

man city : - 8 pts
villa : - 5 pts
spur : - 9 pts...

so IDEALLY, IF we WIN our remaining 7 games, incl agst cheski, and other results go "accordingly", we'll pipped them to 4th place....!!!

so there's still hope....

man city 0 - 2 everton

villa 1 - 1 sunderland

both dropped "expected" points at home...

a BIG thank you to our blue neighbour....

now it's our turn to play our part liao...
