Bro hawksbay, agreed with you ... all the balls was aiming at FT, mark him can liao - so easy to defence ;)

After the sub came in, their defence blur liao and dont know who to focus to mark?

tats why me scolded the owner, with that type of budget RB had, he is forced to buy those 2nd string 2nd choice players  who can't even shoot on target with the goal width open :(

SG & FT needs to move on & find a new club if he is still at the helm.

As usual, i expect some Rafa's supporters (sld i say "so-called" die-hard liverpudian" )here finding excuses for him saying FT is injured or no form or w/e reasons they can have...

Looking forward to next season now...:)

ur problem is not with rafa but with the ppl who support him here in the forum, pls go get a life n stop ranting abt the guys who support rafa in every posting u make.

veri SAD tat The Reds kannot even get all 3 pts against Birmingham.
now it realli makes me wonder hw would they fare against Fulham, West Ham United, Burnley, Chelsea & Hull City.
They don't hv the desire 2 finish 4th in the EPL.

Bro, Torres created one chance for Maxi which struck the bar. He is over-playing as it is, twice a week, and I'm just frightened when his hamstring or knee is going to pop.

Surely, next season we can't go through this again with Torres as our only recognised forward and Ngog as backup. Need someone who can step in for him but also complement him in a 4-4-2 so he can play his fair share of games. Sigh.

RB, i think purposely he put those 2nd choice players that cannot perform at all to make us fans ANGRY

Look at those top club ... 2nd choice players also "ta kong" one ..

sorry bros, sincerely dont know what am i posting ... really too HOT to see this kind of performance just now, vet some anger .. hope bros dont mind me

Let me make it clear, i hate the yankees and i hate RB too BUT yesterday's team wasn't very different from the one dat destroyed sunderland last week.

So i would say its partially fatigue (mental and physical) after the frustrating benfica game.

After RB took FT off, i switched off the tv and went to bed. FT only needs half a chance and half a second to make something out of nothing. I can't believe there is any manager in the world that would haven taken him off.

Eat shit rafa....please start packing ur bags....

how not to be different when u see Lucas playing and dun noe why the first half SG was playing so deep in his own half

Rafa Benitez has done it yet again!

First off, he tinkered with the side by making unnecessary changes, espeially by leaving Mascherano out....worst still, he fielded Lucas, who once again reminds everyone what a crap player he is!!!!

Then he goes and substitutes Torres with the game level at 1-1....what a joke....! "Exhausted he is", Rafa says. In my humble view, 1/2 a Torres is worth more than 2 Ngogs!!!

My point at the end of it all: yes, the owners have screwed the club up on an overall basis, but it is solely RB that has caused the damage on the pitch.

To cut a long story short, I am sick and tired of his antics, especially with his tinkering with the side and wish to see him go...the sooner the better!!!

Yes and he can take Lucas and Ngog with him as well!!!

y y y lucas??.. just not bringing the bacon to the table eh?..

after a good night sleep, ( although not very nice to sleep after the draw..but i took time to reflect on the team's performance.. )

yes, i agree with one of our bros here that it would have been in the headlines RB made a masterstroke move had Ngog made a goal from the many chances in the short time he came on for Torres. But in the end... it dint happen so the jury will definitely get on RB's back..

On reflection, i figured our manager did make changes with Ngog n Babel which gave us chances to win it. With FT on, perhaps we could have just created fewer openings since the birm def will jus surround FT.. but the end result was still a draw.. Ngog just did not take his chances well...

Now why did we play like zombies again in the 1st half? save for the maxi crossbar shot.. there was nothing much... we are leaving it too late as always this year. lack of urgency..

no $$ for better players.. no promotion of fresh talent from our reserve team which i believe has been winning the reserve league for the last few years??..
core players getting older and fans more impatient.. i hope after tis year's WC, we get a very clear (or clearout) view of the direction our team is heading for....

I beg to differ. At least we got a point after playing a difficult Europa league at benfica with 10 men for an hour. Fatigue will set in for the players. Just look at Rooney and Febragas, both with injuries now. I surely hope Torres can last till the last match of all competitions. Looking at the home statistic at Birmingham (for 17, against 12) only Aston Villa and Bolton won there back in Sep 13 and Sep 26 2009 respectively. Chelski, Manure and Arsenal all drawn likewise Man C and Spurs. A point gain is better than no point gain. Birmingham is a defensive playing team scoring only 17 goals each on home and away. :)

I feel that RB bought AA with the CL in mind...cos most of the time he is hardly used for BPL cos as RB feels that such matches are too robust for AA...but goodness sake 9 out of 10 matches in the BPL are hardly a walk in the park...hence you find that most of the time AA is either warming the bench or not feature at all...
