Great report, that's the kind that makes for good reading and learning. About your tip, I know you are trying to help the ones having trouble, which is cool and, dare I say it, nice. Some here know, I'm the opposite of a newbie. I'm mainly on another forum but had some presence on this one a few years ago. But the method you describe to find info, well, it shouldn't be necessary. The setup of this forum (or this VN thread at least) inhibits people sharing info. When I was on here, the typical response to newbies was to insult them immediately. The ones who would welcome them were few. So fresh blood on the forum was discouraged. THere's the zapping problem. Anyone who expresses an opinion that some here don't like gets zapped or super-zapped, actually they will use PM to orchestrate it, and there are some who use clone accounts to build up zapping points. Of course seniors have the most zapping power, so it's a case where Senior means power, as if the imbalance weren't already enough. But as for the ratio of useless chit-chat (for anyone but the very few in on the inside jokes) to actual useful info -- well, I don't need to even state it, just a browse here speaks for itself. Go check another forum on this topic for Vietnam and it's like night and day. Again, the setup of this forum encourages this. There should be moderation that discourages this chit-chat by providing a better way for members to talk offline to each other, or to their private group, rather than have their private group's chit-chat visible to all, and also prolific as it tends to be. If you want private chit-chat, take it offline. It's complete useless noise to the rest of us. Finding useful info in this forum is extremely tedious. And I have to say that there's another cause, namely the spirit of withholding info that's so prevalent here, a kind of miserly attitude toward info. It seems as if the people who share good info here are the ones who don't get it yet, the ones who haven't yet learned that "sharing" is a dirty word here. The attitude is summed up by those who say they are against "spoon-feeding".

As I write this, I have 126 reputation points earned over a couple years a few years ago. It will be interesting to watch which direction those go in after this post, when I'm speaking honestly and openly about what I think.

I expect that the ones who would have upped me have all figured out how things are here and have left by now. ( that group includes myself, I'm only back visiting for a specific reason this time)

Sometime back I mentioned meeting some nice WLs and willing to share the contacts. However recent events have made me change my mind. Most of the ppl ask for fun (they just curious and want to see the photos), hence wasting my time and the girl's.

My conclusion is this. I will NOT offer to help anyone in future (and I know now why the seniors are also doing the same). Any good lobangs, I will definitely keep for myself. No sharing. In fact, besides these 2 gals, I have a few other contacts - one gal who looks like a model with D-cup boobs.

I have since checked aces9999 history and it seems he ONLY asked for lobangs & contacts everywhere but have absolutely nothing to contribute. Anyway pls all stop PM me. I will NOT reply. U have ppl like aces9999 to thank for me being selfish from now on.
