Well, my whole life was about fucking around ... then, as I was approaching 30, kinda ended up with a girl with the same "been there, done that, now I wanna settle down" mentality ... so, we decided to get married which turned out to be the BIGGEST mistake I ever made in my life ... while she truly wanted to settle down, the inner me still couldn't stop fucking around. :p
When my divorce got through after 3 years of separation, I swore I wouldn't get married again ... how nice it was to just continue to explore every other girl I fancy. As soon as I formed that in my mind, I ran into this not so pretty, not so sexy girl ... well, she quietly convinced me that she's the woman meant for me until I'm totally wasted - by understanding my needs, to the extent of even allowing me to continue to fuck around, plus attending a swing party organised by a samster here & most significantly, partaking a 3some with a samstress here.
Well, she's pregnant now & my boy is due in less than 3 months' time ... & over the past months, she has been encouraging me to find my own sexual fulfilment, in lieu of her difficulty in acceding to certain position & intensity.
Humans are strange animals ... when you can't have it, you'd do everything to get it ... when you can have it anytime, you tend to not want it anymore ... so I dare say there will not be a third time lah. :D

Worst thing is ... there was only this one single commentator. :D

Actually hor ... we didn't beat the scums too often even when we were really reigning in the English or European fronts. I still hate the scums right to the core - they're just 1 bunch of bloody arrogant twats, but what else can they be when they only have Alex Ferguson as their role model??
In fact, I dun dislike Chelsea or Arsenal ... if you look back far enough, LFC was exactly like that during the 80s. I mean, we keep winning & winning ... everybody else were hating LFC like crazy, criticising our many "boring" 1-0 wins - in contrast, the scums were supposed to be playing the sexy football without winning the titles.

Well, a piece of trivia for you ... YNWA is originally a church hymn, which the Kop started to sing becoz of the appropriately touching lyrics.
With those lyrics, you think any women would say no??

Someone got his screws loose or wat? This one beats all logic man. What is Benitez thinking if it is true?

And if he can play, how does he fit in? And more importantly who will be out? I tot our midfield already got quite a number of players liao? Someone moving out?

If it's not about this clause, Juventus would have signed him liao.
I think Rafa is shrewd ... Mascherano is a ball-winner, so he should provide good competition for Sissoko (in fact, he's known to play & score better than Sissoko) ... being Argentinian, he also would have a ready bunch of Spanish-speaking merry-men to help him adapt quicky ... given half a season to be away from the spotlight but still training together with the lads, he should regain his confidence too. What's more ... he's only in his early 20s & will last a long time yet.

Sorry RED fans. Our fortress has fallen!!! And it has fallen too meekly. Didn't know it would happen so early.

We surrendered !!!! No fight, no ideas, no inspiration. Gerard wandering around and looking rather tired. And why did he not block that 2nd Arsenal goal? Why did he siam?

So disappointing !!!

What I'm gonna say will be categorised as "lame excuse" by most ...
But looking at how the team lack fight last nite, I have a strange feeling Rafa may have suggested that Tue's QF is more important than the R3 game last nite ... maybe even stressed that they cannot be doing well on all fronts.
Let's see whether we sweep past Arsenal on Tue nite. :)

Wonderful insight by you bro.. Totally agree! If not, why would Rafa have chosen Dudek in goal instead of Pepe?? :p ... And I'm quietly confident we WILL sweep past gonners on Tues nite...

Damn called it sixth sense or what but somehow I knew it wasn't going to be smooth sailing for this match hence chose not to watch...I just hate it when the players starts talking big (maybe they are just trying to play up the morale futher) but I noticed that each time Pool does well and the players starts acting up, the next game they falls flat on their face....and of all the places...Anfield..

I was thinking of that as well. We may be in the Carling Cup QF but this is the FA Cup leh. I tot got more prestige. Some more, Stevie was claiming that he wants to be the first Liverpool captain to hoist the cup in consecutive years. But then again, this is just first run of FA Cup so still long way to go, so maybe Carling Cup makes more sense. So maybe losing this match is a blessing so dat we can focus on the more achievable goals like 2nd place, Carling Cup and CL. Just hope if this is Raf's thinking, he is proven right. Hopefully we dun end up empty handed this season.

Did you see Stevie last nite like very very relaxed leh. I dun see him smile so much before any match. So, maybe he was prepared to just lose this one.

Next Tues also at Anfield rite? Let's hope we rebuild our fortress again and kick some butts.

Cheers

I dun think Pepe would have made any difference, although Dudek may be a little rusty. He was hardly tested throughout the match and when the critical moments came, he just grab air. Didn't make a single save I think.

Arsenal was quite pathetic in the first 30 mins. But, once again our forwards just couldn't score just like the previous matches. Perhaps they were thinking that they will score after the 45 mins. Maybe if Bellamy was in, it may have made a huge difference. And then suddenly, they had one simple chance and they scored. and then another simple chance, scored again. That really killed the spirits. That is the difference between players who take their opportunities well and our strikers. They just need one chance. Ours ...... hainz ..:(

Cheers

Prestige only means anything if & when you have your hands on the cup itself ...

Yes, it's at Anfield ... so is the return league match against the Gunners.
BTW, the concept of fortress is but only a facade ... no fortress last forever. By breaking that winning run in a match of inconsequence (assuming my theory of Rafa's thinking is true), it kinda reduce the pressures of maintaining that record off the players' minds ... to me, it's okay to lose a few battle, as long as we win the war.

I really think it's a case of hunger ... seems like Arsenal treats the FA Cup as the only thing they can win, while LFC's focus was shifted elsewhere. :)

My sentiments precisely.

Hope so. But it could also have a negative effect on them too. A loss is still a loss and can be quite difficult to pick up after that, esp at home, whether got record or not.

Maybe so, but Arsenal and us is almost in same boat. Both are fighting for the 2nd/3rd place, meet in FA Cup and Carling Cup, CL still got chance .... So, maybe they may let us win the Carling Cup QF? Maybe Raf and Wenger ba-gak already -- you take one I take one? hehehe

im not sure if other bros may agree with my views.

i feel we lost cos of d 3 silly defensive errors. look at d replay you'll see how silly we conceded d goals. on d other hand, Pool failed to create that many chances. d Arsenal defence was rock solid. when we had our chances we failed to finish off.

it's sick to hear our proud record at Anfield 'fortress' bein broken by our arch rivals. nvm, we still maintain our proud epl home rec ok! bo bian lor gotta go for d 2nd grade League Cup now ... hopefully we will end up victors this time round. if those gunners buggers do a double over us it'll b hard to swallow man!!!

[QUOTE=KingEros;1795848]Uncle ... dun get me wrong.
It's never been about the money ... else I would not have stayed loyal to the Reds throughout the 90s. I even have a tattoo done during those years in the doldrums, to prove my eternal loyalty to LFC.

guess u have misunderstood...i mean every pool fans will like to see pool win and dominate the league......rather than pool helping them to win their bets...
