Hi Bros,

Its not only Mascherano thats rumored to follow RB to Inter, its been also reported that RB is interested in taking Kuyt and Aqulani over too. In my opinion, apart from Mascherano, whom I think is a player worth keeping, I won't be losing sleep over the other two.

Also, I really hope he comes in for Lucas Leiva.....please do us a favour RB and come in and take Lucas with you, especially since you value him so much as a central midfielder.

On another note, I would like to see Joe Cole coming in. His creative play will be another piece of the jigzaw that is solely missing in our team last season. And if we lose Mascherano, maybe to Barcelona if that other rumor is true, then I would think there would be a case to try to sign Scott Parker, whom I think is a really hardworking holding defensive midfielder. He is not going to cost too much and hence will not be a drain on the club's finances.

Finally, my wish list for next season would include the yanks selling up and shipping out once and for all and for a good manager like Martin O'Neal or even Gus Hiddick to come in.

What do other bros think?

I respect him for saying that. He's just showing the loyalty that Rafa showed us when Rafa rejected Juventus. Mascherano is as loyal to Rafa as Rafa is to Liverpool. Very rare breed of footballer these days.

On a selfish note, I wish Mascherano the best world cup ever. After all, he will be the first guy to hold the trophy if Argentina wins. Just look at all the world cup winning captains over the last few world cups, their transfer values skyrocket like mad. Will be good for us if Mascherano wishes to leave us.

these are my thoughts

if the club can find a rich baron/tycoon to buy over the yankees , and money can be made readily avail to build the new stadium, and unlimited budget for players,

then they shld hire someone with a good track record at winning eg jose morinho(very unprobable) , scolari, sven erickson , gus hiddinks, van gaal etc all these managers have won lots of trophies in their resume and have what it takes to produce a winning team

if they can't resolve the financial problem, and the club is saddled with debt, then they shld get someone who is good at working with a shoe string budget eg roy hodgeson, martin o neill, david moyes( quite impossible this one) etc. they are able to consistently better than expected results despite limitations

Oh, if Rafa were to take along Lucas, we will surely miss this "talented" head-less turkey in Pool's games :(

Hi Bros,

I saw a report today circulating a rumor that RB is interested in acquiring the services of Aquilani and Lucas Leiva for a total sum of 24 million pounds...!

I really hope that this rumor is true and am keeping my fingers crossed, that both will in fact follow RB to Inter-Milan. :D

BTW, if any bros interested, you will be able to find this short article in the "newsnowliverpool" website.

Rumours unsettle players..
Rumours may be true just to hike/lower the price of the players..
we shall see, its just a piece of news.

World cup can never truely justify a players' capability especially when 23 players from around the globe get together for 1 month.

We shall see again how he is in the nxt coming season..

All the best ...*prays*

I read its a threesome package deal.
Aquilani + Lucas + Mascherano.
The Yanks are willing to let them go pending negotiations on the 'right" price.

Heard chelski offering 50M pounds for Torres and offering him 140,000pounds/week. Man City is offering 75M pounds and 200,000 per week. But it seems torres ruled out going to man city but did not rule out chelski. i was hoping he would rule out leaving altogether...but seems like he is prepared to go.....

I saw a longer version of the Inter interview. The youtube clip where Rafa's formally introduced as Inter manager. He mentioned that leaving Liverpool after 6 years hasn't been an easy decision. Rafa had spoken about his family quite often. We know that he buys his wife a watch each time he wins a trophy, or at least his wife makes him. Rafa spoke about his 7 yr old daughter who spent 6 years in Liverpool. It must be tough on his daughter, having to uproot yourself from a place where you grew up. Milan may be just another city for Rafa, just like Valencia and Liverpool but for his daughter, I guess it's fair to say Liverpool is the only place she knows well. On a separate note, this World Cup sucks. Super boring leh. Anyone noticed that there's no upset so far? I thought World Cup always has its fair share of upsets... Bookies must be losing big bucks paying out on draws.
