Case in point, break on in the last 5 mins, the player CUTS INSIDE, makes a SHORT PASS, ball is lost.

I understand it's a friendly and boys vs men for the most part but this sort of play is completely unintelligent!

Agreed, Degen has gone from average to dismal!

disappointed match... thou 1st half is slightly better..

no penetration, no width, no real threat... none of the player look comfortable with the ball... and we need a proper LB...

thou david amoo willing to run down the flank, but final ball is disapoointing...

remember many fans called for rafa to field spearing instead of lucas last season, but seriously anybody still think tat he can make it at the very top level...?? i doubt so...

something to cheer abt: pacheco scored again in spain u-19 3-0 victory over italy u-19...

think he may missed the best chance to impress roy...

If boys are good enuf, they will be. No risk no gain. Remember af did that in the 90s and he never looked back. Just don't expect much next season. Blood the boys esp pacheco, ayala, valla delle, ince, Martin Kelly etc.

I longed for the days where we will see another carragher, gerrard, fowler, mcmanaman, Owen. True red till death.

No la bro, I'm sure Roy would have taken note if we fans are noticing it and hopefully Pacheco can play more in the season.

BUT my question is, WTF is there an European U19 championship going on at this time!! WTF are UEFA and FIFA planning all these tournaments one after the other and the season starts 2 weeks later after the U19s!!!

I know it affects all the clubs but how can football management be so fucked up!!!

He was sent back to Melwood after the Zurich Grasshopper game for medical treatment. Seems like he is made of porcelain always getting injured so easily. :(

It is always good to see the new manager trying out new players. Give the new lads a chance to prove thier worth for the first team. RH has realised that he can't depend solely on the current squad of players as most of the players were brought in by RB. I would not be surprise that we are witnessing the beginning of the end of Spanish dominance in Liverpool .What I woud really love to see is a change of owners at the top. It has already proven fact that the current owners lack the knowledge of managing such a great club as Liverpool FC. The debts kept on increasing and it is making the shareholders very jittery. Hopefully Liverpool FC need to find new investors / owners pretty soon if not the club's financial situation will get worse.

This is quite worrying. I wonder if Roy is putting pressure on Torres this way.

No choice also - in fact Rafa has started doing this also in a smaller way. The rules the FA have instituted on home grown players make this necessary.

Fair play to the idea but it's jacking up the already prices of English players. It will benefit the biggest spenders and those near the bottom which already have a majority of home-growns. Not us unfortunately. We have to start blooding some youngsters and hope they are ready.

another transfer link - rafael van der vaart. wonder how much RM will ask given liverpool's budget limitations. but i also have question marks abt how good VDV is, seems like kuyt is higher up the selection order of the holland team so maybe no point getting someone below kuyt's standard....

Hell the player is obviously marketing himself to get out of a bad situation. I'd be happy to go to Chelsea or Liverpool - make up your mind first!!:D

For me, this wouldnt be bad news if the deal does go through.

I have never think that Jm has contributed to us & is good enough (even many might argue he is the Arg Captain - he wont even make it as Arg Cap if the Manager is not Diego who knows nothing about management).

Hope we can squeeze extra cash out of him & get some decent players :)
