well... i've not gone to fiorentina website... but report from teamtalk site: http://www.teamtalk.com/liverpool/62...future-of-trio "Hodgson, though, would not be drawn when questioned at a press conference ahead of Thursday's clash with FK Rabotnicki. He spoke at length about the game - his first competitive fixture since taking charge - but appeared agitated when the subject changed to other matters. When asked about Young and on rumours linking Rodriguez with a return to Espanyol, the 62-year-old said: "They are not playing tomorrow." Hodgson was also unhappy when asked if reports that Insua's proposed move to Fiorentina had hit a snag were true. "No information to be given about that," he said." not from our official website... thus may not be realiable... |

Then he had a series of extremely unfortunate incidents happening to him & his family. Damn suay life. Firstly he was seriously injured that ended his England career and transfer to one of the Big Four BPL club (I think he was supposed to go to Man U). He was out for almost one and a half season. Charlton got relegated and he was sold. His family were then hit with some kind of hereditary disease that affected a few members including his sister whom he was very close to. She succumbed to the disease. Then another close cousin also had the same disease. He passed away only last year. These events played havoc with Luke's mental state and his football suffered. After the death of his cousin, he went for counselling and since then is picking up his life again. His football has been improving again and I believe given time he will reach the level again that once made SAF and Arse Wenger to buy him. Having been through so much I believe he has become mentally tougher and stronger.... the type of player that Liverpool needs at this time. Those young ones may not know him but I have seen him play since he was a teenager after being impressed by him in KL where he was touring with the England U-18s in 1996 or 1997. |

http://it.violachannel.tv/giocatori.html Still beats me why Insua wants to go to Fiorentina (they beat us last season but can't surely be seen as a bigger club). |

Rabotnicki had 7 Brazilians in their team and they were good but too bad they were unable to handle the gangster style football of our young lads. :D Yesterday's Liverpool was a very rough and physical team. |

What was really deplorable were the monkey taunts. Our big Greek Soto also got booed every time he touched the ball. Let's give these Macedonians a real hiding at Anfield (Alex the Great is long history). |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
watched mavinga's france beat pacheco's spain in u-19 final...
france came back from 0-1 down to win 2-1... man, almost the whole france team are black, and they're big in size and all very physical player... mavinga had a solid game in france defense, while pacheco gave a lively performance in the left side of spain attack... and it's his delighted thru ball which set up spain's goal... hope they can build on their impressive performance in u-19 and play some part in our 1st team.. thou mavinga played in central defense last nite but according to report, he can play in left back too... hope he's good enuf to provide cover for our problematic LB position... pacheco can play in any of left, right or central attacking position just behind the striker. Roy must start giving him some 1st team action, else he may not be happy staying with us... |
