and to be honest, though i am a huge torres fan, i would not have minded if ngog started instead of torres. based on meritocracy, ngog deserves to start.

the finance institution may just give the refinancing loan to the hicks cos they have nothing much to lose (i m not a banker so i might be wrong):

scenario 1
hicks manages to really turn everything around and pay back everything, the financier will earn lots of interest.

scenario 2
hicks fails (which i would say 99.9% he will), the financier gets liverpool.

so the financier does not have much to lose. it only loses if hicks fails to repay and by the time the financier takes possesion of liverpool, they have already become worthless but even by then they would have recouped some of their money from servicing of interest, partial payments made by hicks.

after the departure of ronaldo, nani was supposed to be the "new" ronaldo. well, from today's antics, its clear dat in at least one aspect he is almost as good as ronaldo - diving/cheating.

Torres is still out of sort even though there were flashes of his old brilliance, overall the team didn't really play to expectation.:(

Most part of the game we were on the defensive mode. What happen to our mid-field? Again, we have to rely on our captain to reduce the damages!:(

The worse substitution RH could make was bringing on Ngog, he was not running, not attacking, not defending & he was walking the last 15mins even when we were behind (No contribution except for the yellow card)

On the other hand, cant blame RH tough since after his heroics in the CL but gosh it was a bad move.

1st half was terrible ..only managed a moment (mins) of brilliance (should we even call that) ..Nani was diving everywhere, o'shea should have been off..but so many "Ifs"..its the result that counts..

We really need motivation somewhere somehow & i seriously believe they are affected by the happenings behind the board..

Jovanovic's positions are Left Attacking Midfielder / Centre Forward while Maxi is playing RAM tonight so he cannot take Maxi's place.

Jovanovic share same position with Joe Cole while Maxi share with DirK Kuyt. :)

Fuck it, Howard Webb is a weakling. I knew long ago he is over-rated. He let us down badly when he had to show some courage and make the right decision.

Nani - fucking cheat, diving throughout the match and pretending to be injured.

I have no complaints we lost to a hat trick hero - Berbatov was superb and has been this season. We were dire first half but came alive second half after 2-0 down.

I'm amazed so far none of our fans have given us credit for coming back from 2-0 down. I won't be overly concerned if we can show this courage and drive in our subsequent away matches.

Nothing wrong with Ngog - he gave us some pace until Scum came back and pressed us in the last 10 mins.

I thought Skrtel's defending was scary - he has been grabbing and pulling his man in the box the last few matches - he better stop that.

Raul I thought did very well linking up the attack in the 2nd half - missed the header that would have put us up ahead 3-2.

We just need to get the balance right between attack and defence in the away matches - against Man City, 4-4-2 was suicidal, against Scum, Torres was isolated.

Maxi can play the other flank - all the wingers can switch - but he was a disappointment tonight.

Thats why he n meireles had to go off because they both played in the Europa game.
I posted earlier if RH uses the same players they can only perform at 70% of their optimum level tonight because the recovery time is not enough. :)
