i see many RH-bashers in this thread, incl posts in Facebook requesting for RH to be sacked. frankly im not sure if a new manager would make a big diff. i feel that the problem lies with the team's mentality on the whole. foremost in the players' minds is still the lingering issue of the club ownership and future. even if we get Jose Mourinho or SAF on board, i believe the current situation may not change. let's wait for D Day tomorrow and pray for a positive outcome.

there is no such thing as to good to go down,RH don t seem to noe wats he s doing,he jus declared that we r in a relegation scrap.wat the hell we had a decent team a team who nearly won the league 2 yrs ago,a team who was hard to beat in the champs league ,wtf happened,we were better of with rafa,once u get stuck in a relegation battle its hard to get out,wat the hell RH bought 7 players n chg the look of the team,i don t get it y let riera n insua go when they cld have been assets to the team.i don t understand y play cole on the left,he shd play in the hole behind toress or ngog,looks we r fucked this season.

I think it's a bit of everything, bro. Roy will need time to get his players to gel - none of them have performed so far. It's unfortunate that he is also trying to change the team and coach it to his tactics when there is so much uncertainty over the club.

On a bad day, I think we used up our karma at Istanbul for the rest of the decade :(

We can tell the players to be professional but the uncertainty over the ownership has hit the players badly - they know deep inside they are not good enough anymore, because the owners have not invested in the squad.

Reina has come out and said it, Stevie has said it, Torres has said it too - get a few world class players but nothing has happened. The players aren't stupid and unfortunately it has hit their morale. Case in point Torres got injured last Saturday and it was a huge lift to Blackpool and our self-belief collapsed.

So, yes, 6 OCTOBER 2010!!!

the situation is like when u're working in a company which has such a pair of b*****d owners, and the future of the company is hanging in the air, everybody is uncertain abt their future, plus the company isn't going to have any decent result without investment, let alone be profitable...

so no matters how good ur manager / supervisor is, or how much he can motivate u, or how professional u r, u r definitely affected mentally and in turn affecting ur performance...

more bad news: torres likely to be out of the derby match... and he'll be back "rusty" again....

how i hope the international break is 2 months, instead of 2 weeks...

2 yrs ago, there was still Xabi & Mascherano, now both left. Torres was still hunger with success but don't see the hunger in him this few games since a prolong injury from last season or maybe RB had left and no more motivation or worst no decent buying of well known players lack to limited funds. I still hope for the team that played in Istanbul Champion Leagues Final. But I think the problem is with the building of new stadium and the f$$k type management of the Yankees just like MBS in Singapore low morale for the staff maybe same for Liverpool players.


It's still better than to be relegated :rolleyes:

38 games is all you've got all season in the BPL, no more no less.
5 pts off the top 4, tmw d-day coming (what's the outcome i also dunno) - we can only pray & hope - & hope the players do their best minus RH :D

No doubt, nobody like losing. But with a known competitive league in BPL these days, there is no so call weak teams.But can you see a club beside Chelski that invests a lot of monies but are they a successful club? I said no, becos they have not won a Champions League trophy as yet. Look at Man City, pumping lots of monies but did not qualify for a Champions League spot last season. Can you guarantee City will get a Champions League spot this season or even a trophy won? So Real Madrid pump so much monies for the past seasons, but they did not win anything for donkey years. That's why they ask for the One-man service ;)

Bro, we are all watching the same league as you. The difference is that the majority of us recognise that it is un-liverpool like to be in the bottom 3 even as early as after 7 games and notwithstanding as you say, a "competitive league in the BPL these days".

Lets recap, drew with Arsenal at home, got thrashed at Man City, beat WBA by a single goal, held to a goaless draw at Birmingham, lost narrowly to Man Utd away, score draw with Sunderland at home and lost to Blackpool at home! A total of 6 pts from 7 games, with a goal difference of minus 4 and lying in 18th position in the league, 1 point away from the bottom team, West Ham and 12 points away from the top team Chelsea. Is that normal for any Liverpool team?

Bro, please wake up and smell the coffee, this is the worst start by a Liverpool team for half a century!!! A team that consists of world class players like Torres, Gerrard, Cole and Reina. Isn't this cause for grave concern??!!! :(

Yes, Chelsea and Man City may not have won or qualified for the Champions League respectively, but it does appear that they will likely play Champions League football next season. Real Madrid will play Champions League football nest season as they have done for every season. Where will we be? Right now, my answer is I honestly don't know. If we cannot even take all 3 pts against sides like Sunderland and Blackpool at home; and we lose to the so-called better sides like Man Utd and Man City away, whilst only drawing with the relatively weaker sides like Birmingham when also away, we may well survive relegation, but we will be stuck somewhere in mid-table, not even having a Europa League place! Moreover, if we start getting beaten at home regularly as we did against sides like Blackpool, we will be relegated for sure!

Anyway, don't live in the past, Istanbul is now a distant and fading, if not forgotten, memory. Whilst I do not expect us to be at the top of the league after 7 matches, I certainly never ever imagined that we would be in 18th position either...IMHO, bros who have voiced their concerns and fears have good and valid reason for doing so.

It is bad enough that we are not playing in the Champions League this season. It is worse still to see our team languishing at near the bottom of the table without any suggestion from the team's overall performance thus far to suggest that the results will get any better. Hence, I applaud you for your optimism, but I for one must confess that I do not share it!

bro niteowl, thanks for yr comment becoz of all the hoo haa surrounding the owership of LFC seems to badly affect the team - manager and players my point is that with any job there are sure too be problems but the team is made of seasoned players shld still get the job done IMHO when i saw them playing there was no heart no soul and for a large period of time they were dominated by blackpool

yea the season juz started but the problem still exist and yes the teams you mention above are higher than LFC in the standings except WBA we have 1 pt more.

Relax bro, niteowl is not being blindly optimistic I think, but there he was responding to posts which were mocking the club (relegation and paying in championship). That sort of mockery is unfair and I support him for standing up for the club.

Of course, we had a shit start to the season, no one is disputing that, but we are still supporters of Liverpool aren't we?

anyway, "rich" clubs like chelsea, real madrid, man city and man utd are losing double or triple digits millions every season recently.

i can remember all top clubs will post huge earnings last time in the 90s and early 2000s, not anymore.
