again RH only knows to sub Ngog for _____ * insert the DM player name here...

yada yada... & we have the same end result again...

i believe he doesnt know whats going on.. and the fans are losing their trust in him very quickly...

give him 10games before judging him, i believe RH was quoted... after 8 we are 2nd from bottom. so will we be last after 10?

its a possibilty.. sigh...

as i mentioned in my earlier post, someone must poke through the thick skull of RH and tell him to put players in their best positions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have good players, even better than everton but again he start with cole on the left and lucas in midfield. As i stressed, cole would flourish in the hole behind torres and let gerrard & meireles ctrl the midfield. he should have gone with either jovanovic or babel on the left.

I am ok with maxi on the right but it start to worry me when RH took 70+ min to make changes when the players obviously is lacking of ideas to penetrate the everton defence. look at the difference when ngog, babel & jovanovic came on but what can they do with just 10 min remaining.........

I agreed wif most of you, RH have to go..........for sticking with inferior players like poulsen, lucas & maxi.........constantly ignoring potential good young players like ngog, babel & pacheco..........putting players in the wrong positions and no tactical/urgency sense when we are behind in a game.

is martin o neil still available???????????

Pardon for being blunt.
Sack RH and bring in MON.
He is short of ideas and plans...not forgetting strategies!!!

Bro, I am not laughing at Fulham as being smaller but then they don't set targets like getting into Champions League each season, which is unrealistic..
I also admit Fulham was hard to break down under Roy but that's usually what smaller clubs do to survive and get results..

But we are Liverpool, a team who should be challenging titles each season..

Fair enough, given all the troubles we had, a top four finish should be what we be aiming for..

What I trying to say is RH has to drop his old Fulham thinking and start to think like Liverpool!

We are a big club with big ambitions, and clearly a team able to win games and not go out and defend and hope we can strike on the counter, even when we are at home! (Blackpool is the best example, when we were made to look 2nd best the whole game. Shouldn't we send a team out and let Blackpool worry about defending instead??)

Clearly Roy hasn't got that mentality, given his track record.
No disrespect to other clubs but the only big team he ever had was Inter..

He didn't win things there, he didn't gave us much confidence when he took over, he certainly made things worse..

He claimed there were no panic, I rather he come out and start saying: Yes, we are worried about our position and very sorry to let the fans down. We should buck up and start winning..

His interview after the game was just as bad, mentioning about how unlucky we were to let in the 1st goal, Cahill scoring via a deflected pass, we were better in the 2nd half, how we pinned Everton back etc(Everton choose to defend the lead and nearly made it 3-0 a couple of time), made me feel he was watching different game from us..

He reminded me of Houllier, just short of mentioning we got more shots and more corners than Everton..

The core of the team remained the same, with 2-3 new additions, who should make the team better but facts has shown we became worse, ie he made poor signings as well..

Dont blame the lack of funds though it played a part, Cole came in with big wages demand and Mireles cost us $$ too...

Side track, did Isuna left already or was he injured?? :D

RH can't always be covering the players' ass when some of the super-stars are not performing at all.

Bro you got half and half right. Henry and Co, at least in baseball, are not known mainly for buying big names but selling stars. So yes, Torres, Cole, Maxi may go (and most of the RH buys near 30 years of age), but he might just surprise us and bring in some amazing youngsters.

We are Liverpool and not a bottom of the table team!!!!

you have been criticising lucas for the past one year.. LEave him poor guy..
you fools think you are the best football critics.. the manager and the support staff know better ... the current liverfool team is no where near the ones during the past decades... so you guys deserver this spot.. especially with too passionate, nonthinking supporters.. next season, i guess you will be talking abt the championship...

so many bros here are asking for RH's head. seriously im not sure if it works even if we bring in the best coaches like Jose Mourinho, MON or Guus Hiddink. i think our wretched state is due more to the quality of the squad we are having now.

sidetrack a bit, i watched the blackpool vs manc game last nite. blackpool was in control and should have won or at least drew. manc was virtually playing 2nd fiddle for most of the game when they woke up in the last 20 mins n popped up with 3 goals. it showed that if u have the depth n quality in the squad, no matter how lan u play, u can still win matches. problem is, when either/both SG n Torres are not performing on that day, the other players seemed to lose direction. no 1 can seem to inspire the team and can win a match single handedly. J Cole seemed the best bet but he too is goin thru a very bad spell. next closest could be Kuyt but he is more about playing with a high workrate. unfortunately, our other high profile candidates like mireles, babel, acquilani all failed to make the mark! haizzzzz ....... hopefully the next transfer window will change things when we acquire more solid players who can finally fit in. for now we juz gotta pray hard we have no more injuries to key players n can jump back to the Top 10 by then.

On this aspect, scums' Fergie do had my respect on this: at their prime, players like Beckham, Jaap Stam, Ronaldo do get the boots when SAF displayed his ruthless self. I do share a similar principle: sometimes we have to be unkind to be kind.

no 1 can seem to inspire the team and can win a match single handedly.

From past glory days of King Dalglish & Rushie to Benitez's era, what do these players have in common: Graeme Souness, Steve Mahon & Molby, Rednapped & Hamman, willy Maclister and young Stevie, Xabi & ex J Mache. They are the Midfield Majesto, ruler of the centre of park. Looking at the present squad, how Paul Meireles and Lucas were brushed aside in the everton match...pure gek sim!

Tactics / formation we have...just simple pumping / crosses to the trying but frailing Torress, in the hope he can outjumped / out-smart 2 or 3 surrounding defenders...sad.

Don't you think you are being hasty writing off Raul now? I have seen him move with the ball box to box and push our attacks. He is by far better than Cole right now. I like the character he is showing now, if not the outcomes.

Bro they were kicked out cos of rifts with Fergie.

Yes, at OT, they have a winning mentality and are full of confidence in attack so it doesn't matter who they lose (although it matters now when Chelsea and Man City are outspending them).

For us, it's also a sad indictment of our position that we think that Stevie and Torres are indispensable. That just creates a vicious circle in which we continue to rely on them and there is no enough competition for their places.

bro, of course the manager matters as he is the one that picks the players & the formation............it is so obvious that we lack depth in the wings & people like cole, meireles, jovanovic, maxi are not true wingers, yet RH choose to play the same formation & players week in week out.

as i mentioned, we have good enough players but RH need to put them in their natural positions...........imagine if MON come to us & bring in wingers like ashley young & stewart downing.............torres would start scoring goals with service from this two!!!!!!!!!!!!

really hope we can reverse our fortunes sooner...........:o

raul was our best player against eveton,he kept going n probing n not giving up.we got to layoff toress, the style we play does not suit him at all,he is the best off the shoulder striker in the world,we can t be palying the ball into his feet n expect him to hold it up for us.
