What's with D12? Don't mind sharing? Will be going on 22-25 August, so pardon my newbie question. First time alone also, keen for some adventure.

Would be helpful if bro can enlighten me on whether in between district, example D1 and D2, the distance is akin to like Yishun and Sembawang, or like Jurong to Changi. Will be useful for planning.

Me a Newbie to HCMC scene. I have read up the last 20-30 posts and find out only limited information and would like ask "wetnam" expert about few question:

1) I am planning to go "wetnam" during Oct or Nov! Is it a good time to go?
2) Any place to reco- Planning to go partying like disco, ktv and sn?
3) Should we change to US OR DONG?
4) Roughly how much should be bring there given 3 night of chionging there?

HCMC has more than sex activities or your trip to oversea is purely sex tour?

Google for tourist area and u will get the answer. Common sense will tell bar owners who want to make money from foreigners will have their bars in tourist area. Also read up in this thread or someone signature has all the info. Is it so difficult to search for info or open eyes n read up?

Do u have any info before u decided to stay there? Or what made u want to stay in D12? :eek: U need a lot of lucks and adventures there.

Google map makes the world looks smaller.... Just use it to estimate the distance.

1) Nothing wrong with Oct or Nov, Any day, WL needs to pay her debt, rental, cow medicate fee and so on.

2) Do a search in the thread or read up on someone signature.

3) VND and USD are accepted in Vietnam.... I use more VND in Vietnam.

4) This is very very difficult question to answer. Some need only a hundred USD each day while others need thousand USD a day. Some pay 200k VND for a BJ while others pay 500k VND for a bj. Some need 2 USD per meal while others need 20 USD per meal. So do your calculation.... how to come out with an answer?? 1 rice feeds thousands type of ppl.

i am not expert but can answer but unsure you like my answer...

anytime is a good time...but with the raids not sure how many cheong places closed after this...

plenty of disco in hcm...you can go to a few like gold club, gossip, lush...use google to check...

not sure which country you from...if you had read 20-30pages sure you knew we said to bring cash from your country to change dong in hcm...

roughly how much is tough to answer...to me i only need 100k to survive per day...but if you plan disco (maybe 3-5mil), need a gal overnight (3mil), go another disco (another 3 to 5mil), go supper (500k-1mil) then you need 10mil per day which is SGD 600 or USD 480 per day...include taxi, hotel stay, etc...

I read that they are having the raid now in Vietnam but not sure whether it is a good time to go in Oct and Nov. Like some countries such as china, in this instance, alway have raid during Aug to Oct.

Cause I have never been to Vietnam before, I am not sure where to do exchange although I read that it is better to change in the market. Since, Vietnam is better, I guess I will follow the norm.

As for the cost, to cheong in "wetnam" for S$600 a night, I feel it is abit on the high side. Just my opinion.
