Overview on the hotel
A25 hotel- 274 De Tham is located at Backpacker street, District 1, Ho chi Minh city. It’s very easy to access to most of the city's attractions such as Ben Thanh Market, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace etc

Breakfast is taken on Lobby level. There are 4 or 5 set breadfast to choose from sandwiches to soup noodle. I try the banh mi bo kho or stew beef with baguette, it was delicious.

Summary & Rating
It was really "you pay for what you get". At SGD$32 you have a small comfy room in a good location with many attraction nearby. More important, no problems picking girls back at late night. I would give 7 out of 10 as overall i have a nice stay there.

Backpacker area often refer to the 3 street, Pham Ngu Lao, Bui Vien and De Tham....:)

1.Was trying to find out more about the Cafes in HCMC for my trip in Sept.
Seems to be hitting dead ends probably because Viet is alien to me and I have no idea what is the culture there like. To a coffee drinker like me, I assume cafes are places where people chill over a cup of coffee and deserts with light music, seems like a different concept in Viet where staff/girls can sit with you to chat for a tip.

Can the seniors here advice a few cafe places or areas that i could visit? I know these are the least likely places to get any happy ending but at least I can get my coffee fix for the day :)

2.Next grey area i have is the districts you guys are mentioning here with massage/beauty places A.K.A tocs or something like that. For solo travellers like me, I dont mind walking to explore, but if each massage session is going to take me 2hrs, I cant really explore much during a trip.

Any recommended places that provide solid massage with ++ besides Le Duyen/Minh Minh Tam/Vien Dong/Hanh Long?

3. The night drinking scene seem alittle less talked about too. Of course with sex as the main objective, what kind of places offers a good setting to view potential pickings/freelancers/working girls?

4. My impression of Vietnam is that sex and 'happy ending' services are cheaper than Thailand.
After reading almost 100 pages of this forum, I came to realise that:
- Massage with ++ ranges from 400k-1.5mil.
- Webgirls/wechat girls ranges from 300k-500k(ST), 700k-1.5m(LT).
- Cafe girls tipping range from 50k-100k(just to chat with you).
- KTV belonging to the higher end range of prices anywhere from 1mil- 5.5mil(for drinks only or with some company)

WHAT I CANT FIND OUT SO FAR IS:
- what are the price range for girls (LT,ST) at pubs/discos/clubs??
- what are the usual time 'permitted' for ST,LT??
- ST is 1 shot obviously, what about LT? Do I need to negotiate beforehand or its a norm for 2shots for example?
- where are the usual places people go to take back girls besides Bui Vien/backpacker area? Again rates range advise is much appreciated.

For your point 2,
I would prefer hot stone massage cum hair wash by sexy girl at Le duyen 4 truong dinh street.

Vien dong at Pham Ngu Lao for massage by pretty girl with happy ending.

For point 4,
Don't bother to waste time on webgirls. Most photo are faked.
1st, you need to waste time travel to their district and get a room, then you cannot view the girls.
These places are not within walking distance from Q1.

2nd, can be long waiting time for girls to come, or worse they can fly aeroplane not turned up.
Last but not least, girls usually turn out uglier and older than photo. If you reject the girl, you waste the room money.

A better option, go to the FS MP at 801 LHP and 815 LHP Q10.
You pay 1.3 mil but can view and select girls. Quality better than webgirls.

For wechat girls, don't trust the photo as well. Make sure you get the okt to agree changing of girls. Normal rate about US$40-50 per shot. Not worth to do overnight unless u click with her. Plus point you can do it at the comfort in your own hotel room.

This place sell decent Bo Kho or stew beef. It is commonly serve and eat with baguette.
Usually I will order a bowl of hu tieu Bo Kho (hu tieu noodles with stew beef) cost 35K and add one banh mi (baguette) cost 5K.

For those Muslim bros travelling to HCM.

These days I am seeing more of my Muslim friends heading to HCM for shopping.
They all love to drink Vietnamese coffee.

Yes, I agree. I study wind and water from HK guy. Dun play play. Never sleep in front of a mirror and never wake up to a mirror directly above you (i.e. mirror on the ceiling).

Juz use a towel to cover mirror can already.....

But i like to use mirror to see myself when i pcc....shiok to see soldiers rocket up and then free fall like paratroopers....

Chilling out in pham ngu lao at the moment. As mentioned by other bros, hottocs at npk are decent. 400k vnd. Girls are not fantastically pretty but are alright. Went to 84 cos the guy sitting outside was friendly enough. Also pretty accommodating when I asked for a chick with big tits. The bj however is mind blowing. These chicks know their shit. I might visit haiyen or China tonight or tomorrow.
