The new owners have seen the shit that happened during Roy's reign and prior to the Chelsea victory, I believe they were still monitoring and considering whether Kenny had the ability to be a full time manager of Liverpool. Also you would have to consider that if they allowed Kenny to sign whoever he wanted and at the end of the season, they decided to appoint another manager, then the new manager might want new funds to sign his own players and he might want to sell the players that Kenny bought just half a season ago. Well, I believe that we will have to wait till the end of the season to see how serious the new owners are in moving Liverpool forward. At the end of the day, the fact remains that the money that they received from the sale of Torres and Babbel was totally reinvested into the club and this is already an improvement from the previous owners. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Great to see such a spirited and togetherness in the team.
Think they were trying to prove a point or two especially to the comments made by Judas... Great formation to play 3 CF to frustrate Chelsea game plan. Cara played the game of his life and played superbly including Skrtel and Agger. Lucas has indeed matured and improved... Meireles is a shining gem...i reckon he is better than Alonso.. Hope to see more of Kuyt as a striker, his work rate is astonishing!! Kudo to the team and their effort |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Nothing pertaining to Liverpool...as what the commentators had mentioned during the match that all the 4 teams that start with a "W" are prodding up the table

Great Win Pool!
If we stick to 3 centre Backs and 2 Defensive Mid, we will be pretty hard to break down (dun forget Pepe Reina). Guess Steve Clarke did a good thing getting the players training to move fasterrrrrrrrrr......pass, move, tackle, close down opponents......... Ending off, Last time Owen left us, we won the champs league, i got a sneaky strange good feeling we might just win the Europa League this season with Suarez and Andy Carroll scoring in the Final. :o Lets watch this space in May 2011. |

'Personally I have been left a little disappointed by the attitude of Fernando Torres. I share some of the sentiments that both John Aldridge and Robbie [Fowler] made last week, but it was the ill-timed comments about Liverpool Football Club that showed a level of ignorance and stupidity that certainly grated me. Having played for the football club and knowing the level of respect and support that they show to their players, I felt for them this week as they saw one of their former heroes put them down in statements that he didn’t have to make. Liverpool FC is the most decorated club in English football and didn’t deserve to be slighted in such a fashion. It was certainly one in the eye for a fan base that has showed an incredible amount of patience and support for their misfiring No.9, despite months of poor performances. You didn’t hear Sol Campbell slate Tottenham or say anything after his controversial move; therefore I failed to understand what the point was in putting down a club that you could argue made him the striker he is. Torres was always a good player at Atletico, but he didn’t get the worldwide recognition in the game until he proved himself at Anfield. The sad thing is that I am sure a large majority of Liverpool fans would have accepted the player’s desire to leave at the end of the season, should they have failed to make the Champions League for the second season running. I look at the Premier League table this morning and wonder if Liverpool would be the ones sitting in the top four rather than his new employers, had he shown some sort of commitment and desire, as opposed to sulking, in the first few months of the season'. Alonso left us, and so did Mascherano. One of them has openly come out to support Torres, the other one, remains our hero. Give the Yanks a chance in the summer and see who they bring in. It's not gonna be big money (we can only spend what we earn), but we need a deeper squad for sure. |

Q: What does a Liverfool fan do after winning the premiership ?
A: He turns off his PS3 and goes to dinner Q: What is common between Arsene Wenger and a liverfool fan? A: Always complain on the referee or opposition when they lose Q:When will Liverpool win its 19th premier league A; In your dreams A:When the other 19 teams withdraw from the the premier league Q:What do you call ppl who claim the champions as scum bags A: Scum eaters from thhose bags. following the relegation, liverpool have set up a a helpline to assist their fans through this distressing time the number is 0800 10 10 10, that number was selected as its easy for the fans to remember 0800 won nothing, won nothing, won nothing |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
In this world, there r various types of ppl. First, someone dislike a particular item, he will just keep quiet about it or only voice out when he is pushed to. The other is someone who dislike, keeps on looking for fault to complain no matters what happened. No one asks for his view, he will just let his frustration out. Lastly, another attention seekers, who purposely comes to oppose the majority.
So to live in this world peaceful and happily, just ignore the above. Everyone has his rights to comment. Ignore him totally, either he will get sick of it after awhile as talking to himself is boring or maybe his mind is a bit insane to keep talking to himself. :D I support Liverpool but dun condemn or comment badly on other teams. |

Now Pool meets Scums on Mar 6. KD must be cracking his brain if he should retain the same formation. Sure it looked workable but then Suarez would have been fit n acclimatised to epl football by then. Carroll may also be fit to start (altho reports say he may be out for a lengthier period than expected). So, will Kuyt again play as a loner upfront or will KD deploy Suarez/Carroll to partner him but may risk disrupting a winning formation? (an interesting read: Torres: Reds surprised us http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...actics?cc=4716) |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
This forum is for all liverpool fans gathering we are here to support regardless what situation we r facing cost there will times we would ecounter good n bad times
While under Roy Hodgson the reds suffer the worst result n was just above relegation zone ppl start wondering will that happen to us cos that time we oso facing a possible of adminstration that eventually dock us 9 points After the new owner cames in the result doesn't seems to be ok till King KD take over as a caretaker ( not sure will he be permanent )We are currently on the 6th position and there is chance of being top 4 n to be frank its a difficult task upfront will be Hotspur , Chlesa , Man City We never give up even the chances not that high but thats what life is all about u cannot expect to win all even if we lose at least we fight till to the end As King KD mentioned before he dun care about others players he only concern is the club n his own players hr trust them motivate them n the players repay him by showing what they can do in the pitch Same here i dun like to talk about others team nor comments others team cos in my heart there is only 1 team - LIVERPOOL Once a red always a red |
