I hate to say this, but Wilson was terrible..yes, its good to bring in youngsters, but its quite obvious that he does not have the pace, tackles, & passing of the ball of a professional.

Overall i would say we did perform quite well, sadly raul had to be sub early in the 2nd period, if not we should be able to get back in.

LS has moves & tricks better that that betrayal
Just that it would take abit more time for SG to gel with him.

We were playing against a team fighting for relegation & yes, i still hate that sulky coach of theirs :p

hopefully Kelly n Mireles will recover in time for next wk's game agt Scums.

Pool looked jaded. we were out-run by WH for most of the match. our defence was all at sea on numerous occasions. once again, ageing Carra had problems coping with the pace of the WH attackers. time for Pool to invest in a solid central defender next season.

very poor game....
beside the beginning and late in the game, we looked lethargy for rest of the 90 mins....
to add on to the misery is the injury suffered by 2 of our most in-form players... kelly's injury looked bad... hope they recovered fast....
only other positive in the game is suarez- hit the post once, set up a goal and could have a penalty when he was wrestled down in the box... :D

Sadly i agree SG has been well below par if only because he has set such high standards in the past. I tink he was quite poor last season too. But dropping him is not the answer. Have to find a way to "rehabilitate" him.

dam it. what a damaging blow. hopefully Mireles n Carroll will recover in time for Devils clash. how nice it will be if Carroll make a 10 minute cameo n come out of the bench to score the winner agt Scums! :D

Vidic got sent off against Chelsea, won't be playing against us. If we could unleash Carroll, this weekend's match would be quite interesting. High balls into the penalty box for our tall striker? It seems we only have 2 EPL matches in March... Weird.

So sad... i like to see Kelly play coz he's one of the best since King Kenny in charge... i hope also Mireles fit for Man Utd game... and we need Carroll also to take advantage without Vidic in defense...

Hope if Caroll plays don't end up like Joe Cole debut match in front of the Kops. I think Caroll height will give Man U defenders some problems especially since Vidic is now out of the match.

The Scums have another tall defender besides Vidic...... he may be named Smalling but he certainly ain't small. :D

Saw the wigan game and the west ham game. Based on these two games, feel that Pool gave the opponents too much space. Wigan actually looked good for a while against pool- only after they scored did pool take control again. Against WH, pool found a tenacious team fighting for life, and could not manage- chasing the game, leaving gaps for WH to exploit. I also saw pool when KD took over in the FA cup game against the SCUM. Though Pool lost, they played well and with heart. My thought is - is the KD effect/novelty wearing off on the players? SCUM just got beaten and are desperate to beat pool. Can Pool find the passion/ hunger to win- WH had more hunger- as did wigan, and Pool could barely manage-- Scum i think are even more hungry. In fact I get the nagging feeling that Pool are happy with recent success- and they seem happy with progress - but hv stagnated i feel. Hunger. not really there i feel

just my thoughts- not meant to put team dos Pool down. The good thing is of cos Scum have a not good record against Pool. So I am hoping Pool will pull a rabbit out- as against chelsea, etc etc. Been a Pool fan since 6years old. Hope that pool inflict fatal blow to 19th title bid.
