Many pharmacy store can sell legal drugs.

I rather spend money on drinks. :D When he mentioned buying medicine in KTVs, most will think of casual drugs or illegal drugs. Who will buy medicine in KTV instead of pharmacy?. :eek:

Vietnam detains VietJet pilots for alleged drug trafficking

HANOi: Authorities detained two foreign pilots of Vietnam’s low-cost carrier VietJet Air for suspected drug trafficking at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport late Thursday (Aug 18) night, Vietnam’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAAV) told Channel NewsAsia.

The two men, 53-year-old US citizen Francis Dennis Abellera Yutangco and 45-year-old filipino Elmer Ederadan Sorrea, were allegedly carrying a white substance in a 505-gram model VietJet plane.

The pilots were on vacation and scheduled to board a Cebu Pacific Air flight from Hanoi to Manila, CAAV chief Lai Xuan Thanh said in a phone interview.

“Customs officers at the airport found a suspicious substance in their luggage. They were detained and later transferred to the police for further investigation,” Mr Thanh said.

Authorities have not confirmed the nature of the white substance. State media Vietnam News Agency says initial tests at the airport showed it could be heroin, morphine or opium, and samples were sent for further testing on Friday morning.

Channel NewsAsia’s attempts to reach VietJet Air on Friday were not successful.

Vietnam’s Internet speed won't improve until Aug. 24: cable operator

The damage to an inter-continental Internet cable is scheduled to be fixed on August 24, three days later than expected, cable operator Asia-America Gateway (AAG) said.

A segment of the AAG cable, about 80 km from Hong Kong, was ruptured by Typhoon Nida on August 2 evening. Another segment, more than 32 km from Singapore, was broken on the next morning. These incidents have hurt Vietnam's international internet traffic.

This was the third time this year the cable, which is used by four Internet providers, VNPT, FPT Telecom, Viettel and SPT, was damaged.

The 20,000km cable, installed in 2009, is capable of delivering up to 2.88 Tbit/s.

foreign pilots released after false drug arrest at Vietnam airport

Two foreign pilots of a Vietnamese carrier have been released following a detention at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Thursday, after the white powder customs found in their luggage were verified as not being narcotics as suspected.
Test results found that the white substances are in fact plastic powder, the Vietnam News Agency reported on Saturday, citing an official from the Criminal Science Institute under the Ministry of Public Security.
The pilots were therefore set free, with the Vietnamese airline they work for having confirmed the release, according to the news agency.
At 11:05 pm on Thursday, Filipino pilot Elmer Ederadan Sorrea and his American colleague Francis Dennis Abellera Yutangco were held by customs at the Hanoi airport, as they were boarding a Cebu Paciffic Air flight to Manila.
Sorre, 45, and Yutangco, 53, said they both work for a Vietnamese carrier and are on a leave.
Customs officers found a model aircraft with white powder inside the baggage of Sorrea, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
A quick drug indicator test showed that the white substance turned the same color that signals opiates, the Vietnam News Agency said. The group of opiates includes opium, heroin and morphine.
Customs then booked the case and kept the two in custody for further verification.

Yep. It was all my mistake. I used the word FORUM instead of THREAD and he defended this forum which is an admirable thing to do. The mistake began with me.
