The Synopsis

The flight out of La Guardia Airport lasted less than six minutes. The “bird strike” that disabled both engines of the Airbus A320 allowed only 208 seconds—3 minutes and 28 seconds—for pilot Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger (Mr. Hanks) to react. The rescue of the 150 passengers and five crew members was under way within minutes.

Price is affordable and walking distance from backpacker street.

To be careful. You still need to have girls 18 years and above. Else you still get it from Sillypore if caught.

Thank god. I just manage to meet someone from tinder and had a great night with her. She just hit 18 last month. I tot 21 is the legal age. When I see her ID in the morning I nearly shit in my pants. Even use phone calaculator to count.

I've been visiting this forum since early 2013 and finally registered.

I got to say, you guys are providing an invaluable service to a lot of people :D.

I visited HCM last Nov for the first time with some friends. I stayed at saigon nights, it wasn't the best hotel, but it was girl friendly, cheap (28$ a night) and right in d1 at 7 nguyen trai.

While I didn't check out any of the massage places or use any of the websites or wechat, I did go to some of the cafes in District 10, though after late afternoon, they turn the music way too dam loud lol.

For nighttime activities we visited KTVS. First one was fortune at 700 tran hung dao st in D5. And the second, cant recall the name, but it was at 184 nguyen bieu in District 5.

Fortune was definitely the nicer one of the two in terms of the room and with a better lineup. Though I did find one super hot girl in the second KTV, who I took out on another night without having to go to the KTV.

Aside from KTV, my friends and I also did a lot of clubbing at some club called kumho at 39 le duan, DC and lush.

There are girls working (all wearing same color dress) at kumho and DC who will party with you for a 500,000 though anything after closing is up to your game. There are also a lot of FL at most of the clubs, more at DC and lush than kumho when I was there.

We also went to a couple hostess bar with live music, one was MZ and I'm forgetting the name of the other one.

I might be in HCM mid/late September after going to hong kong for work, so I decided to check out the site again and finally registered.

no need to thank me, i merely suggested you do what you should have done originally before your first post.

I think you are far too generous with your assessment of that animal sidtip.

Finally as to hurricanes site, that is merely a collation of the info losted from 2004, ie info 12 years old, so dont be suprised if the places are closed, or they start overcharging you for subpar services. I mean there are some guys willing to pay 60usd just in tips for a hj, when you can fj 2-3 18-19yr olds for the same price, and if thats you then you are welcome to enjoy those places.

I was researching girl friendly hotels for my trip next week and notice a lot of the info/websites out there is at least a year old, not updated, missing a lot of hotels or lists the same usual hotels.

Anyways I'm hoping we can all share our favorite girl friendly hotels. From my visit last year, I (or my friends) stayed at three different hotels that were girl friendly.


Saigon nights - In D1, 7 nguyen trai a 2 star hotel, relatively clean, really nice staff. Big rooms but definitely a budget hotel. $20 for the standard to $30ish for the VIP room.

Lux - In D1 265 261, Le Thanh Ton, a 2-3 star hotel, very clean, nice modern decor and helpful staff. The door guy even assisted my friend (who stayed there)in bringing FL to the hotel for him to check out. My friend paid in the $30 for a standard room. It was on the smaller side but nice.

Saigon view residence. At 117 Nguyen Cuu Van | Binh Thanh Dist. about 1 mile from ben thanh. I stayed here for the last week of my trip. It was my favorite hotel as its really a service apartment. The apartments are BIG, rooms i the two bedrooms are not next to one another and really nicely furnished. Place has a nice indoor pool and well equiped gym. It was extremely clean and comfortable, albeit not in D1.
We paid $90 for a 2 bedroom apt. I'd definitely would stay again if with friends.

For my trip next week, I'm checking out AN AN hotel in D1 for 3 days. I've read some reviews on tripadvisor that it was girl friendly, the hotel website itself doesn't make any note of the law or policy. I got one of the bigger (delux) rooms for 30$ a night. Hopefully it works out and I wont have to find another hotel lol.

I never encounter kidney in Mi Quang noodles.
There are some noodle shop in HCM which sell hu tieu thap cam (mix ingredients), some of them add kidney into it.

If you like to eat kidney can go to this shop below.

Hu tieu mi thap cam, Mi cat
62 truong dinh , P. Ben thanh, Quan 1

You have option to choose between hu tieu (rice noodle mee hoon) or mi (yellow noodles)
You can order dry or soup, they have pork meat, liver and kidney.
It is just 5 mins walk from ben thanh market.
