Danny Holmes....... if I remember correctly he was recommended to Alex Ferguson by Ryan Giggs the Welsh captain some time back........ SAF sent in his scouts and decided that boy does not have what it takes to survive in the BPL........ so why are we taking him ? :confused:

Entertaining game but our boys have plenty to do to get ready for Sunderland. We can't give the opponents space and another 2-0 lead in the first half. Defence was horrible, with Glen being most horrible (looked slow!). On the plus side, Agger showed how important he was and we made a good comeback.

A permanent deal @ Juve failed 2 materialise & despite interest fr Fiorentina, no deal has been struck. It remains 2 be seen whether Liverpool r happy 4 him 2 leave.

Now it seems AC Milan r preparing 2 offer the 27-year-old an escape route aft the club's vice-president Adriano Galliani said: "We could talk abt Aquilani, he could be of interest.

''He's a midfielder with the characteristics tat we r looking 4 so, like with other players in his role, he could be of interest.''

Galliani dismissed stories linking Antonio Cassano with a move away fr the club & Thiago Motta with a switch across the Milan divide fr Inter.

No la, Mascher joined us during the time and we also signed Keane, and Riera and Yossi aren't too bad. But it just got worse and our best players began moving on, and Rafa panicked and bought some really bad players.
