[QUOTE=SH149;6184277]Latest rumors
The 22-year-old has never featured internationally at any level, but has been watched closely by neighbours Liverpool. Holmes was named in the Welsh Premier League manager's team of the season for two years in a row.... [Quote] Danny Holmes....... if I remember correctly he was recommended to Alex Ferguson by Ryan Giggs the Welsh captain some time back........ SAF sent in his scouts and decided that boy does not have what it takes to survive in the BPL........ so why are we taking him ? :confused: |

Valerenga scores! Another bad start in the first half. Defence just stood off WTF.
Penalty given away by Adam - Reina beaten! 2-0. Defence dreaming! Carroll taps in from corner. 2-1. Our guys are just not match fit. |

10 mins left, Agger header from corner! 2-2
Agger pops up at the far post 3-2! Ferocious shot beats Reina. He won't be happy. 3-3 Entertaining game but our boys have plenty to do to get ready for Sunderland. We can't give the opponents space and another 2-0 lead in the first half. Defence was horrible, with Glen being most horrible (looked slow!). On the plus side, Agger showed how important he was and we made a good comeback. |

Henry demanding top-four finish August 1, 2011 Liverpool owner John W Henry has warned Kenny Dalglish it would be a "major disappointment" if the club fail 2 secure Champions League football tis season. Significant investment in new players has raised expectations @ Liverpool, with Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam & Stewart Downing all arriving as big-money summer captures. Tat trio will be used 2 support the January arrivals of Luis Suarez & Andy Carroll, brought in 2 replace Fernando Torres, & Henry now expects 2 see a return on his investment. "It's 2 early 4 us 2 start talking abt winning the league," Henry told Dagbladet. "In my opinion ManU r the 1s 2 beat. They hv a good squad, & look really good. "Our main goal is 2 qualify for the Champions League. If we don't it would be a major disappointment." |

Milan interested in Aquilani deal August 1, 2011 Milan hv hinted @ a possible deal 4 Alberto Aquilani aft admitting the Liverpool midfielder could be of interest. Aquilani's future has been the topic of much speculation with reports suggesting he is keen 2 return 2 Italy aft spending last season on loan @ Juventus. A permanent deal @ Juve failed 2 materialise & despite interest fr Fiorentina, no deal has been struck. It remains 2 be seen whether Liverpool r happy 4 him 2 leave. Now it seems AC Milan r preparing 2 offer the 27-year-old an escape route aft the club's vice-president Adriano Galliani said: "We could talk abt Aquilani, he could be of interest. ''He's a midfielder with the characteristics tat we r looking 4 so, like with other players in his role, he could be of interest.'' Galliani dismissed stories linking Antonio Cassano with a move away fr the club & Thiago Motta with a switch across the Milan divide fr Inter. ''There is nothing in these stories,'' Galliani added. ''Cassano is a Milan player. A move 2 Genoa 4 Antonio could only occur if he asks 2 leave. If he doesn't do tat then he will definitely stay here with us.'' |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
juz finished reading the book "An Epic Swindle"...
our club had really gone thru a nigthmare of 44 long months, under those 2 shameless blood suckers, liers, b#@$@ds... i can't stop myself from wondering "IF ONLY" we were bought by NESV or other more decent owners instead of them.... ...we'll definitely be the one celebrating the 19th or even 20th lge title.... ...we'll definitely still the top team in champion lge.... ...and if rafa was backed by the owner in transfer market, we'ld have more "alonso", "macherano", "reina", "t....."... instead of "reira", "babel", "benayoun", "sotos"... and i sure mata will join us... it's jus a damn pity tat rafa had to go thru those days of hell. i still feel tat he should have achieved more with us n able to brought us to the very top if we're under a better owner during his days... sighed... |
