we gave them too much space, and as expected, struggled badly against bale's pace...

never going to be easy playing with 1 man less, let alone 2, against a top-4 rival at their home ground...

dalglish has important task to bring up the team morale again...

and with injury to agger n suspension to skrtel & adam, it'll be even more inportant to have johnson, kelly n gerrard r back for next match...

going to have a super BLUE monday tomr... :(:(:(

yes, we were exploited by Spurs' speed. if i didnt recall wrongly, last season was also the same story, except that we did not have 2 men sent off. Somehow Adams doesnt seem like the same player who was so authoritative @ Blackpool last season. He's quite a hot tempered fella and his 2 silly challenges contributed to our downfall.

Adam is neither the fastest player nor best tackler, and he had committed some sclumsy fouls for the past few matches.

Side track a bit from our match.

What a stunning miss by Torres against Man U!
He is a totally different player nowaday, maybe blue is not the colour for him.

no doubt a shocking miss by torres...perhaps similar to the miss by another ex red man ronny rosenthal...

however i think torres played quite well overall...his goal was pure class n on another day may well hv had a hatrick...the manure chelski game was a v curious yet exciting one...to me chelski were unlucky n sld hv actually come away wif something...manure were v strong on the flanks but looked vulnerable in the middle n defence at times...other teams sld take note of this...

shocked by yesterday's performance at WHL...to be honest Spurs were by far the better team no doubt abt it...regardless of the 2 red cards which were on balance fair...

KD & SC plus Comolli hv alot to think abt it especially after spending 100m pounds...

time n again i hear pple saying henderson n carroll are for the future...but how do u justify paying 18m n 35m when u compare the pxes for kun, nasri, silva, mata etc?...u dont pay such huge pxes for potential u expect the completed product...n adam?...what happened to the blackpool player last season?...

looks like it is going be yet another difficult season...n hey i am only asking for 4th place!!...gutted...

I switch off at half-time. Can't believe what I am watching in the first half . We were outplayed and outgunned in every department . But I too have to admit Spurs played an excellent game. Every of their player were all fired up and willing to fight for every ball.

I was @ Spools watching last nite.

The 1st 15 mins was already telling who's controlling, who got more determination n who's likeliest to score 1st. Actually when Pool was 1-0 n 1 man down by end of 1H, i was still not giving up hope YET. (even went to buy Pool to come back to win @ 32x) I was hoping KD will give the hairdryer treatment n wake the boys up. N maybe with a tinge of luck, Spurs may have their man sent off, n Pool may nick a lucky goal.

I felt that KD, seeing that the team was not performing in 1H ought to have brought on subs early in the 2H rather than left it late. Think we needed someone speedy and creative like Bellamy to break d Spurs defence. But by the time Bellamy n Spearing came on, the damage was already done.
Dun think even teams like Barca or Devils can make a spectacular fightback with 2 man n 2 goal down.

y everytime must put lucas? don really like him cos rather slow leh.. seldom shoot also.. Y dont KD put kuyt or maxi? At least they are much better than lucas lor.

I think carroll is becos only for his height lor. As a striker, he seldom shoot or dribble leh. At least suarez and bellamy does that.

Was hoping to see KD putting a suarez-bellamy combination lor.

You seriously not watching every game? For every creative midfielder, you will need a destroyer. Think mascherano, Alonso for Liverpool. Think viera for ars, keane for scum.

ok, juz for healthy discussion. not wanna criticise cos our new players did not perform up til expectations til now.

do u think if Mireles had stayed, start in every game n we did not buy adam/henderson we may have fared better???

true, it may take time to gel but sometimes i juz wonder if thr's somethg wrong with our training methods? seems like players like phil jones, young, smalling had settled well @ scums; likewise adebayor n parker @ spurs. even bad boy Barton started brightly @ QPR. can someone explain if this is some kinda DISEASE???:mad::mad:
