that so gay-ish...had it been a fool among the champions, they would ve let him sit with his shirt on and made him run with their champion chanting.

Downing for mata at 20m.
Henderson for jones at 20m.

This is gonna be a long long long season.

i never rated henderson and downing,i also don t think going all british is a good idea,we were hopless, hopefully it was a bad day at the office.i also think dalgish does not as anything to do with the signings,y on earth wld we sell our best player of last season meriles to a rival club.i guess if sum club with alot cash come for suarez pool wld sell him.u guys shd watch the movie moneyball starring brad pit and u might get the picture how the club is run.yes its gonna be a long long long painful season.it was sad cos dalgish did not have a clue of wat to do.

What a stunning miss by Torres against Man U!
He is a totally different player nowaday, maybe blue is not the colour for him.

yes he missed but he got himself into the goalscoring situation did he not,his first goal had class written all over it,i tot he rushed a bit for the missed effort but i tot he was awesome accept for that bad miss,he did miss alot when he was with pool as well.

ok, juz for healthy discussion. not wanna criticise cos our new players did not perform up til expectations til now.

do u think if Mireles had stayed, start in every game n we did not buy adam/henderson we may have fared better???

true, it may take time to gel but sometimes i juz wonder if thr's somethg wrong with our training methods? seems like players like phil jones, young, smalling had settled well @ scums; likewise adebayor n parker @ spurs. even bad boy Barton started brightly @ QPR. can someone explain if this is some kinda DISEASE???:mad::mad:

selling mireless was a mistake.letting aqua man go on loan is another, for god sake we need to do sumtin abt our defence,we were much better under rafa, comoli as got to wake up,its not all abt making money but sadly thats wat we have become.looks like our 19th is a long way off.

Buying players for the future is one thing.
How about addressing the current situation?
We need experience players to guide the team...like SG
Lucas is not the player to lead the central midfield, neither is Adams...
They simply can't create that type of play like Raul or Alonso.
This is a fact...

Alonso ever expressed that he dun rule out a return to Anfield so just wondering will KD launch a bid to bring him back ?

Can't see it happening but then again, we have Bellamy. The new owners said they want to get players with resale value. Alonso is still highly valued by Real Madrid whereas Bellamy is out in the cold at Man City. Will love alonso back though. The girls love his looks, the guys love his passes. And we will be talking about goals from our own half (not own goals hor).

The 1st 15 mins was already telling who's controlling, who got more determination n who's likeliest to score 1st. Actually when Pool was 1-0 n 1 man down by end of 1H, i was still not giving up hope YET. (even went to buy Pool to come back to win @ 32x) I was hoping KD will give the hairdryer treatment n wake the boys up. N maybe with a tinge of luck, Spurs may have their man sent off, n Pool may nick a lucky goal.

I felt that KD, seeing that the team was not performing in 1H ought to have brought on subs early in the 2H rather than left it late. Think we needed someone speedy and creative like Bellamy to break d Spurs defence. But by the time Bellamy n Spearing came on, the damage was already done.
Dun think even teams like Barca or Devils can make a spectacular fightback with 2 man n 2 goal down.

We surely are missing a playmaker. I also really wonder why Dirk Kuyt was not in the starting line up. Another question is why we did not control the midflied ? :( Enough said this is one game I would rather forget . My only wish and hope now is that KD can motivate the lads to have a winning attitude and that they must win every game at all cost.

Don't think it would ever happen. Anyway players return always did not out do their previous stint. Think Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler.

Good to pick up the win after a tough 2 weeks.

I didn't watch (won't pay Mio the extra for Goal TV!) but Maxi seems to have played well and was involved in both goals.

Nice to see Stevie back.
