Look at the tables, after last week BPL matches

Man City - gain 3 points
Man U - lost 3 points
Chelsea - lost 3 points
Newcastle - gain 3 points
Tottenham - gain 3 points
Liverpool - lost 2 points
Arsenal - gain 3 points

It's going to be tough season...:)

Good or bad bros??? Honestly how many Asians can flourish in EPL? so far only Scums' Park seemed to have carved out something. The others like Sun Ji Hai, Li Tie, the Koreans who play for Bolton, Spurs, the Jap who plays for Arse ... barely made it.

Signing an chinese player is for commercial reasons....... even a half baked player that cannot command a regular place will sell more shirts in PRC for LFC than Gerrard or Suarez.

Though you will see 99% of them in the street - pirated type ....

It is still a GREAT marketing plan :D:p

well said bro. ManC did quite well commercialising Sun many many years back. But guess they do not need the backing now that they have the Arabs. sly old fergie got a good deal with Park; not only was he able to sell jerseys, he did decently well on d field too. Park could easily fit into the 1st team if he joined 1 of the mid table teams. if Pool can sign someone like Honda of Japan, it'd be good!

That probably won't do us too much good, given how the Chinese dislike the Japanese. Can't see the Chinese wearing a jersey with a Japanese name on it. The other problem with targetting the Japanese market is timezone. Imagine a 11pm match in Singapore, it will probably be 2-3 hours later in Japan. From late night to middle of the night, the audience size will drop.

Will make more financial sense to sign Chinese. Even with the pirated jerseys, the value of the TV advertisement space before, in-between and after the match would be worth a lot. Imagine getting hundreds of million of people just from China to watch our match. The problem is from 1 billion people, we can't even find 1 player who is good enough to play in our squad. We should probably target the Chinese market now by starting football schools in major cities. If their national team players are trained from young in a Liverpool-linked academy, it will look good for us too.

Just a joke to share with bros here...

The morning after the match which Man Utd lost 1-6 to city rivals Man City... Alex Ferguson's alarm went off. His wife said "Honey wake up its 7"... He jumped up terrified and said "OH NO!!! Did they score again?!!" :p:D

Happy holidays everyone!

Very bad 1st Half - no co-ordination at all

Gonna be a long day in office in a few hours time if the 2nd half continues to stay that way ...

Watching the game too...

Like the past few games, we are awfully poor in the final third in terms of passing and finishing...

Totally not acceptable!

The equalizer by Suarez was a gem :D and it looks like Suarez has done some good target practices. Carrol fizzled out in the second half...what a flop

Seems like all of Suarez's goals are scored when AC is on the same pitch with him with the exception of that goal against arsenal.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Lucky pairing?

Didn't subscribe to Mio TV. Do you guys have links where I can watch highlight of the goals? Tried searching online. Sometimes can find, sometimes can't. I realised BBC News's Sports Segment does show footage of the goals. It's just that you got to wait for that segment of the news. Feels like so 80s and 90s... where we watch the news and wait for the relevant segment.

Suarez's goal is fantastic. Only a supremely confident guy can try that kind of shot, I feel. But no matter how he celebrates his goals... I feel Kenny Dalglish's celebrations are the best! Can really sense his joy. :p
