Overall it was a good game. I find that again lady luck is not with us . :( Again we can only manage a draw even when we have 1 man advantage . Again I find myelf scratching my head why can't we win games at home ? Seriously if we are to be champions we need to be winning every single game be it at home or away. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
what a game of footie balls...breath taking, nail biting n damn bloody exciting...especially after taking in the v sad n shocking news viz gary speed...just the tonic needed to bring back the dynamic of life...
lots of positives to take fm this match...lucas leiva, what can i say dude...owe u a huge apology for being so critical of u under rafa...the brazilian was da man n da boss!!...charlie adam...2 games for 2, now...brilliant, just brilliant...pepe was just his usual greatness behind the sticks...agger n skertl got it going on...glen n enrique did pretty well...carroll did well in the short time he came on n by all rights sld hv scored...reds sld probably hv won the match, just like agst manure...but i wld hv taken a draw before the match... there is one thing that concerns though notwithstanding a good reds performance agst the best team in the epl at the mo...reds continue to lack the clinical finishing goal scoring touch which is both worrying n frustrating...downing's touch was abysmal...kuyt was poor...suarez takes things too fast at times...no doubt hart pulled off some great saves for Citeh...but then again if the reds' strike force was just abit more clinical...liverpool wld probably hv won the match...same for the matches agst manure, norwich, swansea n stoke...think kenny n clarkie need to do some hard thinking on this issue if the reds r to push for that vital top 4 epl finish... be that as it may...i still had a good monday...great game lads...also balotelli made my day when i heard abt his tantrum in the dressing room after the match, bloody twat broke the door!!:D...anyways bring on the chavs... Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
actually what is now required is consistency in games agst teams 8-20 positions...clinical finishing is now key...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Probably a positive result with the top contender for this year champions contender. We have done well with the top 4 teams baring spud whom we lost earlier. The top 4 finish will be though but not impossible, support the team through and through. It was a fantastic fast game. Just the the rest .WE COULD HAVE WON IT,,,,,,,,m!!!!!!

Finishing easier said than done. Some people born with it (look at Owen). But for others, confidence and anxiety play a great part. Snatch at the chance, or think a second more, and the goal becomes much smaller. |

Liverpool discuss sensational bid for Barcelona ace Villa
Liverpool are lining up a sensational bid for Barcelona striker David Villa. The People says the Spanish superstar was wanted by the Reds 18 months ago when he left Valencia, but Barca beat off competition from Anfield and Real Madrid to clinch his signature. However, Villa’s situation at the Nou Camp has changed and his place is no longer guaranteed in the starting line-up. And Liverpool will go for the player again next summer if they return to the Champions League. The player’s contract with Barcelona runs until 2014 and contains a mind-boggling buy-out clause of £170million. But an offer in the region of £40m might tempt the Catalan giants. Will he join the red? I hope so..:D |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Chelsa posses 53% compare to Liverpool 47% n had more shot than us but we take our chances well thru Maxi n Kelly so one step nearer to Wembely
Again the traitors did not score against us though he was given a rare start by the blues |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
the old habit die had.
when playing against the top teams and playing away, always can perform. but when playing against those in the bottom half teams and playing home, does not seem to perform. nevertheless,a very good win for us. |
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Only managed to watch last 10min of the match but I can see we defended very well...
Its a good result, seeing that Chelski didn't field a weak team.... Makes me wish we were playing Chelski away every week! :D |
