Today's Game

Liverpool Vs QPR

I am hoping that the lads will bounce back and prove that they have the mental strength to beat QPR today .

My predictions for today is a hopeful

2 - 0 win for the homeside.

My wish for today is give Kuyt , Maxi & CB a starting first 11. With AC , Henderson dropping to the bench.

With Lucas injured and Spearing suspended, KD will use Henderson for the DM role..... wtf?

Anyway I have faith in KD regardless of which players he use, fyrthermore QPR are without 5 first team regulars for tonite's game. :D

Liverpool 4 QPR 0

Nil- nil would be a lucky outcome for the reds against the lowly opponent. I am just being realistic this yeeae against those weaker club.

Really heart stopping moment after Suarez goal ..cannot close up the match again with bad finishing and of course opposition keeper came to rescue again.

Tough 3pts against lower team..but can u say we deserve it..ah well..3pts it is..

an average performance...the boys tried hard but you never feel they felt they had their scoring boots on.

at least we are above newcastle.

what is it about opposition keepers playing at anfield where they always produce man of the match performance against us................

luckily this time we managed to win the game but you always felt like we are going to concede if we dont score anor goal soon to wrap up the match..............:(

i think KD hv to realise now to play the in form maxi is crucial as his link up play wif suarez is absolutely fantastic, downing & adam had a decent game too..........looks like other than a DM, we might need to invest in a striker nxt mth to put away the chances that we created, cannot always depend on suarez...............YNWA

It was almost the same old story!

Weaker teams to Anfield, we wack and wack and their GK just suddenly became world class player!

Another sign is we took the lead and suddenly we have to park the bus like we were fighting for relegation...

Its not good but I sure hope this victory could acutally kick-start us to another level!
And its good to see Suarez score again! :D

a win, 3pts...good solid performances by skrtel, adam, suarez, maxi, hendo...but once again the lack of clinical finishing is worrying n of great concern...maxi sld hv had a hatrick n suarez a brace at least...

also looks like maxi/suarez/bellamy(kuyt) attack appears to be the best option at the mo, also v exciting to watch...great pace, 1-2 passing movement...unfortunately the finishing product still not there...somehow r other kenny n clarkie need to find a solution to the reds poor finishing asap...

happy to c spurs finally drop some pts...plus the magpies dropping more pts...wld hv been even happier if the gunners dropped pts as well but just hv to admire that beauty by RVP(this chap is really on fire at the mo)...hoping Citeh will do the reds a favour n beat chelsea tonite...

anyways onwards n hopefully upwards in the next 4 epl matches which all look winnable...but gotta get the finishing right...

Right now...3rd and 4th place up for grabs...liverpool still in a fighting chance...looks like second half of the season is going to be key...:p

hopefully the senior management pray to "tai sui" to ensure we have more peaceful period and more goals...no more hitting woodwork...:p

Finally we had our first win at home. It was great to see Surez scoring again.

We were made to work hard for every game . Hopefully with this win we will continue with this progress . Glad to see maxi and CB getting more playing time. It's amazing we had over 25 shots at goal but only 1 managed to find it target . :(

Kenny: I trust them implicitly

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kenny Dalglish has reiterated his unwavering belief that Liverpool's strikeforce are on the verge of a goal-fest.

The Reds once again created a raft of chances at the weekend but found QPR stopper Radek Cerny in inspired form during the 1-0 victory over Neil Warnock's men.

Dalglish was delighted with the overall performance of his charges and is confident they are still moving in the right direction.

"We did miss some chances, yes, but the goalkeeper saved a lot of them too," said Dalglish.

"Do I feel the need to go out and do something about that? Aye, whichever side comes along here next, we'll ask them to come without a 'keeper. That's the best way to do it, isn't it?

"Irrespective of what I say, it's not going to stop speculation we are going out in January to sign Joe Bloggs up front, or whoever. I don't need to say anything.

"For us it was a fantastic team performance. We are quite happy.

"I trust the players implicitly when it comes to scoring, implicitly.

"They continued to get in there on goal, and even with the 'keeper having a good day, they didn't drop their heads. They must be enjoying what they are doing, to continue playing like that, and creating chances like that.

"One day, creating chances like that, we are going to get a load...or we are going to be garbage, and win 1-0. And I think that will do us."

He added: "I think some of the football we played in the first half was brilliant, and we won't change our beliefs or the way we play.

"That's why we brought the players here in the first place, and we will stick to those principles.

"Our performance was fantastic, and the only thing missing was the goals that confirm that.

"If you look at home performances they have been fantastic, look at points...maybe not. There is not a game we have played here that we couldn't have won, we shouldn't have won.

"The goalkeepers that have come here have done very well for their sides...I'm saying that again. Performance wise, we don't have any problem whatsoever, goals - yeah, we'd love more, and we'll get more."

It's good that Suarez has broken his duck. All the chances went begging and then he gets a free header. That's how it is.

Same for Henderson and Downing, and Andy. They got to keep plugging away and wait for luck and confidence.
