This is the first thread I start besides the newbies thread to greet everybody here. Saw some interesting discussions on the above topics like getting cheated by PRCs, at KTVs, girlfriends so I thought this is a good discussion topic.

For me, I was a victim before in my early forrays into ktvs. Pay a lot of money for bonks, only to realise that I've overpaid something like twice the amount. So now I would negotiate the amount before I bonk them. Also, bonk in the afternoons is cheaper than after the ktv. The girls are free anyway in the afternoons, and for after ktv sessions at night, normally the mummy take a cut like $50 to $100 also.

Getting cheat is part of learning phase for growing up, or from newbie to lao jiao... :D .

Think being cheated also means we are more experience in handling it next time,might not be bad if we are able to recover from it and take it as a experience ;)

Wait til u hear the story of a guy who gave nearly SGD60k in cash, excluding perks of phones, jewelry etc
Only 2 realise tat the gal was keeping a boy-toy back home after the phone bills came......... ;)
Dunno if the gal pull another stunt 2 cover tis blooper though

My gf classmate, a chio TAM girl bragged about cheating a guy of $30K on the pretext of doing some business in China. She probably used sex and her beauty to gain the man's confidence. When she got the money, she kept it and the attitude towards the guy changed. When the man smelled a rat, he was devastated but there was nothing he could do.

For me, it was many years ago. I was going after this gal. She kept rejecting me and one day, call me to join her at a Japanese restuarant in Orchard. When I was there, she was with another gf and they had finished eating. End up I pay for the bill which was around $300/-. She then left with her gf and say free then come out. I was only 20 then and $300 meant a big deal to me then.

In this world, normally u will gain 'some' and lose 'some', it depend on which 'some' is heavier.
But it seen very common that ppl then to blow up the fig.
Just like in gambling, they always say they lose a lot even when only little.
When win money they just say. 'Win a little nia' :mad:

wonder if this makes me a robert.

Time spent: 8 months.
Money spent on liquor: God knows..but i drink it all anyway.
Money spent on lady's drinks: about 10-20 bucks a night.
Money given: maybe about $1000?
Items bought: one handphone and one watch.

And what do i have to show for it?

Absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I answered my own question. I'm a Robert.

me , another carrot head! she is a student in uni in thai , know her throw freind, go with her , totally about 3yr , at the 1st yr , nothing much going on, just fly over there see her , when back , those balance thai bath , give to her.... after 1 yr, she start asking money for sch fee, every month about S$350, around 2 yr , then just find out , over there , she got other boy together with her........

Basically, i totally spent money on her (S$350*24month=8400)+(cash to her about S$3000++ in 3yr time )+(some gold , wacth.....around S$1500)
and a lot small small thing never count in..........hm.......quiet a big amount!!!!!!

Its in the heart n mind.......when u r doing it, the sweetness of tat lovey dovey sensation overcums the logical conceptualisation normally sound.
When its sour, fingers point.......

If u r going after a local normal gal, u dote on here, splash lavishly on the food, presents, just to get into the mood to impress the gal hoping to score - either to get her into the church or to get her onto the bed........
If u jus can't ace tat last step, do u look back n smile knowing u had tried ur best 2 woo her? or do u spit n condem her??

Actually all humanity has a tendency 2 go for short term gains
Its jus how u weigh the pain n gain or the happiness derived at the expenses of others.......

I know of a gal in BKK who does not ka my chai tao but she is a v brite n sensible gal who knows wat she wants......uni student too but a true blue fren whenever i m there

I guess if she was taking advantage of me by making me lavish money on her w/o ever thinking of going into the church or to bed with me, I think I will spit n condemn her because she has taken me for a 'Robert'. Lucky I am just FOOLISH_ and not ROBERT. :D
