Planing a trip to bangkok during CNY, 8-10 Feb 2016.

will be there from 8-12 feb. been to bkk several times and im a fluent thai speaker but cant read or write, keen to chiong together with some bros here if possible as this will be a solo trip for me without my regular kakis

I will be there from 11-14 with a colleague. He has book us into the Regency Park hotel at soi 22. How is that hotel? Has anyone stayed there before?
Actually I would have preferred to stay at Terminal 21 vicinity but he already went ahead to book the hotel.
