What is your favourite hotel and location?

For some to be near the night life?

For some to have a good view of the river?

Or a convenient spot to spend half a day with a FL?

Oakwood Residences, Thonglor

Pros:
- Off the main Thonglor road with a back door to quickly reach the main road
- Quiet and discrete
- Huge service apartment (comes with a full size kitchen, living room and separate bedroom)
- Cheaper than most other hotels
- Near the connecting road to the clubs in Ekkamai
- Very near my favorite onsen spa - Let's Relax Spa in Grande Centre Thonglor
- free shuttle tuktuk to BTS (normal hours)

Cons:
- Quite far from BTS but can call the hotel to pick you up with the shuttle service or grabbike like me :)

I generally stay in hotels from Phrom Pong onwards. Not a big fan of the Asoke/Nana area. Chidlom and Siam a bit too busy and atas already.

Was staying at Eleven Hotel Bkk, so far good. But depends on your budget.

In everyones opinion, which is the best night life area? Thong lor?

Depends what type of night life. I like to go patpong agogo then bring the girl go rca then back to the hotel in Rama 9 area.

Depends on what you like. When I started travelling to BKK for work I made a point to stay at every BTS station from Siam to Ekkamai and to Sathorn to assess the different areas.

I just prefer the Phrom Pong/Thonglor area. I use grab bike so it is easy to get around.
