Three more in online vice syndicate jailed

THREE more men in the online vice syndicate featuring prostitutes from Thailand and Korea were jailed yesterday.

Loh Nee Leong, 33, now a cabby, and Phua Chun Peng, 32, were each sentenced to 15 months' jail for conspiracy to live in part on prostitution earnings and helping to manage a contact point for prostitutes.

The third man, Liew Kuo Feng, 34, now a lorry driver, and his wife, Charlene Pang Siew Ting, 26, an accounts assistant, were both convicted of three charges of intentionally aiding the ringleader, Koh Wee Siong, 33, and his right-hand men to live on prostitution earnings and helping to manage a place of assignation.

Liew was jailed for five months.

In the case of Pang, Community Court Judge Ng Peng Hong adjourned sentencing to April 16 as the couple have a young son.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Tan Wee Hao said the syndicate operated four websites - TK Lover, Asia Dollies, 1SGF and Precious Model, which was later rebranded as Korean Kimchi.

Operating out of an office at Maysprings condominium, the syndicate liaised with its foreign counterparts to bring in Thai and Korean prostitutes.

Seven local operators were hired to man phone lines and liaise with customers and prostitutes alike to arrange appointments for sexual services.

The prostitutes were housed in various hotels and apartments.

They did not have to leave their rooms as everything was provided by the syndicate through its Thai runners, who were under the charge of Loh, the chief runner and financial controller of the syndicate.

Besides a monthly salary of $4,000 to $5,000, both Loh and Phua, the chief operator, were also given a share of the profits from 1SGF.

Phua had to man the phone lines of the vice websites and arrange for sexual services between the customers and prostitutes.

To reduce the chance of being caught, Koh employed the Thai runners and hired third-party scapegoats to rent vehicles and apartments.

Loh was responsible for collecting prostitution earnings and paying for the syndicate's advertisement banners on sammyboyforum, as well as rental of apartments and cars.

The total revenue of the syndicate was about $200,000 a month, the court heard.

I'm not surprise that we are being watch. Singapore is a small country practicing on communist mindset. Good revenue businesses are being monopolized by govt or step board whereas lousy ones are being thrown out to private.

If this forum really being watched by police, can come monitor and enforce stricter on my company's staff benefits in providing free prostitution to its staff?

Customers (clients) will only be charged if any of the prostitutes involved is underaged, as in less than 18 years old.

Precisely. In fact, I'm not surprised if there are AVs active in the discussions here, or maybe spreading misinformation here.

Bro, nice try, but I think you will have a hard time convincing AV to go after your company for something that you did on your own time on foreign soil. You need ot man up and get over this or get some professional medical help.
