Bringing pornographic magazines into Singapore ?
 

Hi guys,

I'm currently staying in Tokyo and going to fly back to Singapore next week. Wondering if I would get into trouble if I bring back 1 or 2 playboy-style magazines from Japan ?

I think ponorgraphic magazine is not consider prohibited items by MDA but rather controlled items. However books, DVDs, medicines, telecommunication equipments .... are also controlled items and people bring it all the times.

Just stuff it in your bag and walk through customs and immigration.

If they do happen to check, it'll just be confiscated and you'll lose your precious mags.

The other option is to post it back to yourself. That's what we used to do in the good old days before the internet.

Unlike a replica gun or sword/knife, X-ray machines cannot differentiate a porn book with a fhm magazine, neither is it able to scan the content. Just bring it.. I tabao these magazine everytime I go japan and Taiwan..

Done it before, put into my hand luggage and walked thru customs green lane w/o problem. If asked, just said you pick it up in the plane.....

I still recall those days we smuggle porn to sch.. and share with classmate.. and video tape dismantle to fool custom ... hehe .

Thinking back.. we are so crazy for porn. ..

Thanks all the bro for the comments :) I know it's easy to find porn stuff from internet, just want to bring back something that can't be easily found in Singapore. I'm gonna tabao some mags when I'm back then.

japan don't have xxx magazine right? only have up to r-rated cb censored...does taiwan have xxx magazine?

Look around the larger bookstore lah
Ask for something called sexyluxe
It comes with dvd:D

japan don't allow showing of pubic areas. all censored. even for porns that are uncensored is actually meant for export instead of their internal consumption. same goes to taiwan
