Hi, may i ask whether prostate massage can be done even if you are healthy? Or issit only for people with prostate issues?

Actually a lot of such classes are conducted in English in Thailand nowadays for Ang Moh therapist.

Don't go to those massage places who pretend to give prostate massage, they basically wants to charge you more for rubbing your balls.

I got a PM about this question and thought I would share the answer here.

Prostate massage is basically sticking a finger up the guys ass and pressing on the prostate. Of course it has to be done with skill and knowledge to achieve the desired effect. Even how the patient stands or lies during the process makes a difference. How you press the prostate obviously makes a big difference.

Doctors use prostate massages to manage and treat prostatitis be it due to an infection or not. We also use it to get what is known as expressed prostatic secretions for testing to look for infections.

There is no evidence that prostate massage can prevent cancer. But there is evidence that wanking off 6 times per day will. Oh yeah.

Although there have been no actual evidence that prostate massage is harmful, I would be very careful to say it is OK for people with a normal prostate. If done wrongly, prostate massage can cause inflammation of the prostate and even the surrounding pelvic muscles. This can lead to chronic pain.

So the lesson here is - don't do it. If you have to do it, at least go to someone to knows what he/she is doing.
