Holidays In Australia

Hi bros,

I am planning for a trip to Australia fr 11 May to 16 May 06 but still
cannot decide which state should I go to?

Destination in my mind:Perth,Goldcoast,or Sydney?

Have anyone stayed at their backpackers premises before?
what is the enviroment like?is it safe to stay there if I am travelling alone?
What are the beaches that is worthy visiting?Any recommendations?
Is there any race discremination happening there?

Kindly advice me on the above doubts.

Thanks a million.

Btw, I will be travelling alone any bros would like to join me for my trip
Pls PM me or send me an e-mail to:[email protected]

Cheers

For Sydney, there's always the ever famous Bondi beach, or further down Mannly beach.

For Perth, ... basically the whole coast of WA are beach areas facing the Indian ocean, simply beautiful. You can try Rottnest, things should die down now because usually it's packed during summer and summer is ending now heading now into winter. Nearer to Perth, there's Cottesloe beach. From the Perth city center, just 45 mins away, either by bus, train or boat down the Swan river, you can easily hit Fremantle and there is no lack of beaches there. Further down south, there's Mandurah, Albany, Bunbury, and if you are really in to it, try Esperence, it's very beautiful. Up north, I am not too familiar, there's Geraldton, but my understanding of northern WA is mainly mining area like Newman.

Do a google on Perth, Gold Coast or Sydney and you should have enough info.

Hello Uncle Sino,

Don't ask me about cheonging in OZ, I have been too spoilt in motherland. I have truly remained celibate in my 2 yrs in OZ.

By the way, it is my Lao Tei! I am the real son ok! Yah, I know, LT did mention to me that he will be having teochew porridge, which how I wish I was there also... *sigh*

You are too important now in CP, I am sure you guys will put in lots of effort in fostering a better bilateral relations with the MMs there. The Erections are cumming... oops :p ... I mean Elections, so can take that as a reason to Stand Up for SG lor... haha

Hope to catch up soon, and of course in motherland lah.

Cheers

Don't need to go into the City for backpackers, I am sure a there's a couple of choices at Bondi IF the threadstarter wants to spend his xx days all the time at Bondi.

The main thing is that the threadstarter should google it, that should churn up more hits than he could digest. The worst thing is, if you don't even know where you wanna go, then how are you going to go there? :D

personal suggestion, head to goldcoast, stay in some of the backpackers resort or better still head to any accomodation agent whihc u could find ample in surfers paradise. SP is fun 24/7.. you name it, they have it... strip bars, bars by the beach, chinese food.....

Should be "Kindly ADVISE me..."

"Advice" is a noun.

The chance of getting this wrong should be 50/50. Why is this mistake made almost 100% of the time???

Hahaha! I can't believe the number of times I've seen you correcting the bros here. Maybe they prefer vice to vise? LOL

Good advice. :)
