Feelings for an Old Friend
 

I met this girl 10 year ago in school. We were quite close. She has the nicest smile and boobs. We see each other in school each day and I get to go with her for after school tuition classes together. We were very very close. Many friends even mentioned us as a couple. I could sense the chemistry between us but I was already with my then GF, and I felt bad pursuing a relationship with her.

Didn't realise I would have such strong feelings for her until we graduated and she went overseas to study. She sent me pictures of her university and I started to realise that I am missing her. We have a short period where we were doing webcam on late nights and sharing stories. However life got busy for both of us and distance took its toll.

Attended her wedding year ago and felt a bit sour during the ceremony. But I didn't want to spoil our friendship by telling her how I feel.

Now although we are staying quite close in geographical distance, we rarely get the chance to meet now due to work and life commitments. We still meet up during chinese new year and I would drive her home. Those night drives really makes me itch and wanting to hug and kiss her.


Then a few nights ago, I have the strangest dream about her. We are both still single in my dream and I was asking her out. The dream felt so real. To make things worse, during work on the same day, the radio started playing our song when we were rolling together in school.

Now I'm missing her again. If only I could turn back time, I would have confessed my feeling for her 10 year ago.

Forgive yourself, for the heart not know what it wants.

What I learned from my experience is that, I got less bitter about love disappointments as I grow older, perhaps it's age, perhaps it's just life. Perhaps because now I am in love with someone, and she's my reality, not just some nostalgia fantasy.

When talking about regrets, I can't recall how many times I wished there are 5 or 10 versions of me, one for each girl that I adored and couldn't get.

A good friend of mine told me that if you have something bothering your heart, like a tiny little rock underneath your feet inside of your shoes, you could choose to either live with it for the rest of your life or you could try to change it.

Just remember to be grateful to what you have in life, also to what you DON'T have in life.

Bro, i have been in a similar situation to yours and i can vouch that time will eventually heal your wounds. In the meanwhile, try to keep yourself busy and eventually you will find someone else who you might have the same or even greater feelings for. Wish you all the best bro.

Yes she has nice boobs and ass. I really did enjoy her company. Last time I thought it was just my raging hormones.
But now I still can't forget her. She had made too much an impression on me already.

Then these few days HBO showed The Golden Compass, reminded me again of her. Years ago, we watched it in a cinema during a gathering. It was the first time sitting beside her in a cinema. I was listening more to her chuckles and gasps, rather than concentrating on the screen. Was going to grab her hand but didn't -- afraid will ruin our friendship. Aihyahh!

Fast forward to now. Marriage for me has been good, and her marriage is good too. We are still good friends.

Shall just keep this in a secret room somewhere. Don't think its a good idea letting the cat out, considering both our family life now.

I'll just let this forum be my secret room.
