How did the word "steam" originate?

Seriously,

How was it evolved? Is there a logical explanation? :D

When i was a little kid...i would hear my classmates say "you see Jerry, his cock STEAM sia" - in fact, i just heard a kid saying it just now...thus opening my lost curiousity :p

Anyone would enlighten me?

ps: Jerry is just an example - no relation to anyone in particular

maybe when the first guy ever in the whole wide world got an erection it was raining.

and because back then nobody there were no clothes, there was literally steam when the rain drops came in contact with his erect member.

he may have said, "Whoa, steam!" and the rest as they say, is history...

:D

Steam - to be sexually aroused; to have an erection. Probably derived from the word "STIMulated".

Re: How did the word "steam" originate?

Other than the one in wiki. 1st steam to be used sexually is from Rudolph Valentino's film The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse back in 1921. The Tango scene was so sexual that the scene itself was steaming. Thus the word steaming scene was coined thereafter.

Steam sia.. now thats from Malaysia and Singapore. Copyrighted with all rights reserved. Lol

Coming to that, how do we explain the term 'DIE COCK STAND'? I cant imagine our cock stand after we die, unless maybe u took a huge dose of Viagra and its effect is still there ~

Is there any reasoning behind it? Kindly enlighten.

Re: How did the word "steam" originate?

steam could also be a mis-pronunciation of stim? as in stimulate(d)?
since singlish does include a lot of words that aren't spoken the standard english way, i wouldn't be surprised if stim is one way you can think about it. and hey the wikipedia article does state that, just read it. oops not so original.
but anyway, steam sounds good.
haha laodi's yahoo answers link is funny, especially in a car.
