Hi Bros, I have cheong for many years in geylang but have never gone for any testing.
Just want to check how often do you guys go for testing?
Sorry to start on this taboo subject but like to gather some data on this.

I do mine every 3 to 4 months.

Heard got free test right? Where did you do yours? How much?

i do mine once every 2 years during my full body checkup

Nowadays I go to dsc.
In the past private clinic and they charge between 200 to 300 excluding meds ID needed.

For free testing need to have AFA voucher.
I always collect those vouchers whenever I come across their volunteers giving them out at the cheong places like Clarke Quay, St James etc....
I have been using those vouchers for testing at DSC every 6 months.... for free everytime.

Went for anonymous testing yesterday. Spent $70 for the latest test kit that can detect antigen, meaning 1 month window period.
Test turned out negative, peace of mind restored.

what about STDs?? You worry only HIV?

There is no roadshow. It is just small groups of AFA volunteers that go to these places to hand out condoms/pamphlets & DSC free hiv testing vouchers. They have no fixed schedule so it depends on your luck whether you come across them. They are mobile and move around among the various places.

I usually spot them while queueing at the Clarke Quay taxi stand. Another place where I spot them often is at Orchard Towers and Geylang.
