these are more privately arranged sessions in more private places i believe.

The days of air stewardess working as ktv girls are gone since at least a decade ago already. Now they can make easier money by offering paid dates.

SG gals has totally disappeared from the KTV scene in past decade. Not like 10-20 years ago where u can find a lot of local and M'sia gals

Most SG gals in their 20s-30s this generation comes from middle-class to well-to-do family. Their family dun depend on them for monthly expenses.

Maybe 1 or 2 out of 100 might have some real financial difficulties, but definitely unlikely u will see an influx of SQ gals turning into ktv hostess simply of the pandemic

1. let us use our brains? in normal times i am a vvvv frequent flyer. SQ gals in recent years are only comprised a minority of SG citizens for starters. many others, especially MY etc.

2. SG gov has scheme to provide support + as mentioned above, most come from adequate backgrounds and/or have other legitimate support

could there be one or two doubling up as SW..sure...even b4 covid there had been a case of one gal 'escorting' in her down time.....but whole tribes of them in ktv with fat drunk bengs fondling them...

Sensationalism sells news. Actually the SQ girl also nothing much these days. Wash off the makeup, remove corset, strip naked, you got your normal run-of-the-mill syt. No different than any other. It's just for the (imagined) prestige, for some people.
