Actually, I am sure some brothers here will concur that sex is a critical part of a relationship. I mean, look at it the other way. Let's say you woo someone for 6 months and then she puts out of you. And then only to find that you don't enjoy sex with her that much. Then what happens? You are out of 6 months of your time.
Whereas if you enjoy having sex with her and then woo a WL, then at most you have lost your money. Just my two cents worth.
