Ekamai & Thonglor F&B is a different you go there relax and chill and it's not far from where most visitors to Bangkok would stay. Most "Thai" places can be hard to find and you would need to tolerate the massive jams to reach them.

Yup, the normal places will be Thong lor area. But I sick and tired going to that area. Used to be hiso place, but now infested with Singaporean bringing their thai disco t laks and gigs.
I rather go to lad prao, Watery Y restaurant to chill. Nice ambience, and not to forget hong samudd after Watery Y. Cheap and at least can impress the girl.
