If you drop in at the Kaha Travel office at Batam Ctr immediately to the right when you exit immigration, you could probably pick a hotel voucher for about 25% discount to the walk-in price. They are very reliable. Kaha also has an office in Nagoya directly opp Hotel Harmoni.
Just to alert bros coming through Batam Center. Almost impossible to get a cab yesterday. Lots of taxis were lined up on both sides of the road but nobody's moving cos they are "mogok"(on strike). Pao Hong chia in Nagoya is still moving. So be prepared to take ojek all the way downtown.
Any bros know of any pub in batam the plays rythmn and blues. Appreciate if you could share. Thanks.
