3) Once hotel settled, i will use yr guide to find some joints listed near formosa hotel. Or as u mentioned take cab to nearby those joints. If possible is there any joints u could list me tat r v near formosa hotel? Also is berry indah = new berry?
4) Lastly, wat is the nearest shopping mall to formosa hotel? So i could get drinks food condoms

Long story short,here's my answers to your questions :
1) Buy ferry tix - Batam fast/ Prima to Harbor bay/Batam center
Book online at Prima Ferries website 1st,then go to Harbour Front on the day you are going Batam to Pay for your ticket and get your boarding Pass to board your ferry to Harbour Bay. Harbour Bay to Formosa is nearer hence cheaper taxi fare (40k to 50k),but Batam center will be different price for taxi fare. If you stay in Formosa Hotel,drop yourself at Harbour Bay.
2) Once arrived, take cab 40k/50k to kaha opp harmoni hotel to book formosa hotel as u recommended. So kaha staff will help me book directly as walk in?
You can do that too if you feel confident enough to hit Kaha before heading to Formosa,and yes Kaha staff can help you book a room at Formosa and you will be issue a hotel voucher upon payment,after which you can go to Formosa Receptionist and hand them the voucher. Prices may varies from time to time,so ask price 1st & room type before committing your payment. Below is Kaha name card for your reference (gentle reminder: Do not leave your belongings/bag inside the taxi when you drop off at Kaha to make hotel booking when taxi is waiting) :

Once hotel settled,depending on the time,if it is before 2pm,you may wish to go shop around,grab you lunch/meal etc etc before heading for joint-shopping. Save the map below to your mobile phone,it answers question number 3 and you cannot get lost if you are staying in Formosa Hotel (forget berry indah & New Berry):

Nearest shopping mall is at Nagoya Hill Mall,to reach there...step out of Formosa Hotel Glass Door entrance with your backside facing the glass door,turn right and walk toward the next building call Lucky Plaza but look at the left while you are walking there (be careful of traffic tho) and you will see the below :
If you look at the map again,New Berlian joint is also beside Lucky Plaza. From 1 building to another building takes about a min walk. From Formosa to Nagoya Hill Mall is about 5 mins walk.
If you succeed in reaching New Berlian joint,the very same building that holds New Berlian joint has lots of food store and the food there is cheap & GOOD in my opinion.
To get CDs is simple,directly behind the Hotel is a provision store. Walk out of Formosa glass door again with your backside facing the glass door...turn left and walk behind the Hotel ,there is a provision shop. Fyi,they only sell 3s CDs,i buy my 12s CDs from Harbour Mart abt 40 steps away outside the arrival Hall in Harbour Bay terminal.
Side note : When you turn left from glass door of Formosa and walk straight,you will also see very big word Dynasty,another joint. And if you manage to reach Dynasty,directly opposite Dynasty is Queen 8933.
All these infos are already in my guides on my Signature. And i am just extracting them to paste it here to answer your questions,hehehe...and in the unlikely event if you are ever lost,just grab a taxi at 30k per trip in any nearby hotel or mall.
