I believe for a better option,you need to take a taxi from Batam Centre to NED (Nagoya Entertainment District). 50k taxi fare and you will be spoilt for choices when it comes to HC with Happy Ending. I don't know what other bros would advise you,but this is what i will do being a newbie in Batam.

Yea,i believe it is still happening. I have read about a number of cases of such in this thread and in other forums (& sites too).Most recent one is less than a year ago. The usual trick is one goes to KTV/disco,the girl one tries to hook up sits with you,when one is a bit tipsy or half-drunk,the girl slips in a pill in the target's pocket,and that was when the police steps in to do the body check.
After observing a handful of such cases,my summary from my reading on these cases are....
1. It ALWAYS happens in a discotheque or KTVs.
2. It ALWAYS happens when the victim is tipsy.
3. It ALWAYS happens with an FL (free lancer) around or a girl in the premises/scene.
4. The victim is ALWAYS a foreigner in Batam.
5. The girl is ALWAYS young and pretty.
6. The victim shows obvious signs of a well-to-do carrot and/or new to the scene.
Just my personal observation above,there could be more. Being a newbie myself,it's one of the reason why i refrain from FL.
