Nowadays, a lot of VBs are working in the food courts, but how many take out portion of their money to help their own family (children and husband)? All worked because they need to send money back to VN every month. I have also seen numerous VBs who have viet bf but yet lie to their Singapore husbands that the viet guy is her relative in VN. Overboard to the extend of bringing the viet bf over to Singapore.

One can say i am very negative about VBs, but it will also have to depend on what are your expectations of your viet spouse. I have been married with my bx for over 11 years, have 3 kids, my bx already got her Singapore passport since 2009. Constant contact with Vietnamese due to my business in VN. Seen and experienced too much of them. It took me many years to change the thinking of my bx, but i do it through REASONING. I will explain to her about what is correct and show it to her via news reports and other real life examples. I keep my wife posted on the latest international , Asia and Singapore news. My wife watches Phoenix Chinese News Channel daily daily for news and to further improve her Mandarin. I see so many Singapore man being controlled totally by their viet spouse. What we Singapore man see are mostly acted infront of us, when these VBs come together, they will show their true colours and talk about how much `money` they have digged from their Singapore husbands and whether they have other bfs outside. Yes, there are some good ones there but its really rare to find one.
