Actually Borobudur is not a hindu temple but is an ancient Buddhist Temple in Magelang of central Java. The design is very unique such that it was built using Javanese Buddhist architecture blends with ancestor worship.

Borubudur being the largest buddhist monument in the world was abandoned and hidden in the jungle for many centuries and it was finally discovered by sir stamford raffles (the british ruler of java and founder of spore) after being informed by the native people.

These days, buddhists in Indonesia celebrate Vesak day at the monument every year....

Talking about Bali reminds me of the olden days of Bali in the 1920s and 1930s because during those times the cewek were mostly naked on the streets. At that time, many angmoh men desperately went there just to enjoy the "beautiful scenery" and took pictures, indeed was a wonderful place for naturalist and nudist too... Nowadays not many nude beaches to go...

Hopefully Batam can be a bit more creative like Hatyai in the 90s where there are young girls strip show in the booking joint.

They will wear a number tag available for cheongster to book them rather than the boring gold fish tank concept in Batam....
