Nope,formosa do not have in room safe. As mentioned in my guides,you can definitely trust Formosa receptionist with yr Passport. I think they also have a safe box at reception. I dont need to use it,and you may wish to enquire from them. Been staying in Formosa since 1st trip,so far no issues.

When you travel abroad, anywhere in the world, the last and most risky place where you would keep your passport is WITH YOU. Imagine if you lose it, someone steals your bag, etc.
Leave the passport at the hotel, it will be safe.
By the way, I routinely leave cash, computer, even gifts (small jewels) in my room at Formosa and nobody ever took a single coin. It's a honest place with honest staff, you know?
(shit happens, sure, but a single accident will not spoil my good opinion on the overall staff)

Sorry, again this wrong information circulates (not you, Nono). If massage/joints/KTVs do open around 11am or noon, and fill up with most girls a couple of hours later (asynchronous arrivals from rooms, if you understand what I mean, depending on how long they want to rest), then many joints (not all) close around 5pm to allow girls to sleep again and eat, to reopen again after 7pm and close ultimately around midnight. For example, a KTV like Permata will wait many customers at night time, who come to drink sing and enjoy the company of girls.
Remember that in most places it is also possible to have a ST (about half price of booking rate or something more) in the rooms upstairs. Therefore, it is NOT SURE that what you don't see at, say, 3pm will be not available at, say, 4pm. A new girl can come from her room or from the massage room. Unpredictable.
So, while it is true that after 4pm (not a rigid threshold) few decent girls will be available on weekends, you might still go to have a look at, say, Permata or other places after 7pm on a Sunday and be surprised. It happened to me more than once, to be frank, to see a full team of girls coming down the stairs at that time.

I am always surprised to see so many people be concerned about paying 10k more to a taxi driver at Harbour Bay, when they plan to spend 1M for booking a girl, 200k for seafood dinner, etc.
10k is about 1 SGD! Worth avoiding walking OUTSIDE Harbour Bay, as it was even suggested by someone. Also, those drivers are NOT rich. They make a living from small money and mostly have families to sustain.
Just be sure to pay a fair 50k, the standard rate from HB to Nagoya, and do not be frightened if on arrival the driver demands more. Pay and leave. (or inform the driver in advance)

I think also patronizing KTVs and having a girl in bed outside marriage is not exactly a correct behaviour, from religion point of view...
