Just saw this post, i took bus 152 about 6 time before from airprort to ben thanh market. The price is 5000 VND, journey time is approx. 30 mins.
Just get up the bus, find a seat and wait until bus driver come up the bus. Every passenger will then go to the the bus front counter and put 5K VND into the slot, bus driver will give u a ticket after. If u have a big luggage to put at the bus bottom compartment, they will charge u for extra.
Best to just keep quiet and put 5k VND in the slot at bus front counter if u carry a small backpack. I saw 1 jap lady went to counter to ask price, the driver ask her to paid 3 time more, 5K VND for taking bus, 5K VND for her small backpack and 5K VND for her small sling pouch...
